Evening from Green Bay lodgers. The bad news, I'm in 'Sconny. The good news, there's a bar attached to the motel and they have Versus on the tube here. Gonna make a quick visit to bar then finish the Wash-MTL game. Night.

ETA: I forgot another downside to 'Sconny - they still allow smoking in bars. Yuck. Quickest drink and cup o chilli I'v ever downed to get out of there.

I think I am more a fan of drunken shenanigans, and for years I was a fan of the perennial underdog, that to be honest I haven’t got used to this whole “winning championships thing”. The good news is both teams are not starting out so good.

Ahhh balance is restored to the universe.

I just found out one of the express buses leave right from Yorktown Mall, I am going to a game in two weeks with some friends and I have quickly become not a fan of driving around this place. So a bus to the game, yeee haa!

Have you found the one women's league playing in the Chicagoland area? I have a friend who plays down there. She started playing up here when her husband transferred here, then kept playing after moving to your area.

But at least we're not in the mountains...winter storm watch there.

Morning Lodge

This month all the Admin personnel have to take an online test verifying we know and understand what to do if we're required to evacuate the building or seek shelter. Shelter involves tornado, evacuation involves fire, bomb threat and issues with the nearby nuclear plant.
Because we're located so close to the Monticello Nuclear Plant, there's an elaborate plan for evacuation based on how bad the threat is, prevailing winds at the time, and other criteria I hope we never have to act on.
