Lefse is good.

Apparently I have a lipoma. Hopefully it doesn't get any bigger, otherwise I'll have to have it removed.

Afternoon lodge! To celebrate the end of the semester, and finally being done with everything, one of my project teams is getting together for a few drinks tonight.

Other good news - I will likely be starting off my graduate career on the right note. By my estimate, I should have final grades in all three of my classes between 3.2 and 3.5. :)
Good on you!

Why get it off. They grow back.

On the band wagon of no grits- yuck.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! friday is here.

Morning lodge

Grits are awesome.

I put them right up there with oatmeal, raisins, black licorice and gin

I'm still down to two things I hope I never eat again - head cheese and lima beans. Everything else I've ever tried is OK to eat again.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

Lima beans are yummy. Head cheese is pretty good too. Up there on not to eat again- Red Flannel hash with vinegar (a local staple in the French Canadienne community.) Smells and tastes like vomit!

From what I've read, they *can* grow back (not a given). My main concern is if it gets much bigger than this, people are going to notice it and tell me "you should get that checked" (thinking that it's potentially cancerous).

If it grows big enough people will stay away from you, which is what you want isnt it? :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

Yes, they eventually start to grow out of it. I think it took me until my mid-20's to fully grow out of that attitude, but it did happen.
As I told mark in rep: I found living with someone as self-centered as me helped me grow out of it. I grew up fairly spoiled. I remain so today, but at least appreciate it. Living with a spoiled, center-of-the-world person really taught me how unpleasant it could be. So, while I remain an arrogant attention whore, I recognize it and I'm not as self-centered as before college.

(How many trumpet players does it take to change a light bulb? One, she just holds it up and the world revolves around her)

How much for the women? I want to buy your women.
:D I have a pair of Blues Brothers boxers with that line.

I want most people to stay away, not all. :p

If you got it removed would it leave you with a cool scar? That could attract certain people.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

Grits are gross.

So, maybe it was the alcohol from last night, but this morning I got up, packed my stuff for the office, including a change of clothes (I'm going to the Red Sox game with my dad tonight), and his birthday card (it's his birthday today!) and took my magazines out of my bag as I needed to drive in to work (Sox game - duh, and I'm lugging home a bunch of stuff I need to bring to the convention center tomorrow for this conference we're exhibiting at) and didn't need them to read on the subway. Finish my breakfast, put on my coat, grab my stuff and head out the door. And walk all the way to the T stop. I'm getting my T pass out of my pocketbook and see the guy handing out the Metro newspaper and say to myself "I have magazines...wait...I took the magazines out of my bag....CRAP!! I'm supposed to drive in today!!!" Walked all the way back home to get my car. Thankfully it's school vacation week so the drive in was a breeze. But still...:o

Good Morning Lodge.

Going on the road for work for 2 days makes for a short week, since the work days go so fast when I'm out of the office. I got everything I needed done in Green Bay, so hopefully I won't be going back for a little while, though I'm sure I will be at some point. Yay, it is almost weekend!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

Morning Lodge. Back from a conference that was held where the purple cows play (Mankato Civic Center - for years it had been held in a hotel nearby, but it has outgrown that - I like to think it was my presentation from about 4 years ago that caused the attendance to explode - or maybe it's because I haven't presented since;) ).

I have some questions from what I missed. First, did 'ewe's friend invite her to join in the "alternative lifestyle"?;) Second, is mini-legal a son or step-son of legal's? (not that it's any of my, or anyone else's, business) Third, Bakunin has friends???????

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

Still raining here in Denver. In general, April and May constitute the "rainy season" in the Mile High City. No, we don't get much rain in comparison to other parts of the country, but two or three days of slate gray skies and intermittent rain gets depressing. I hope the weather is bright and sunny in your neck of the woods and have a good weekend. :)
