I love the scene when the SWAt team was at that builiding at the end of the movie when Belushi and Ackryod were paying the taxes (or whatever) and they show them rapelling (sp>) down the building. Then cut to an interior shot then back to the outside of the building for that lone SWAt guy who was late. It's just so random. And very funny. All around excellent movie.

And let me just say - playoff hockey this year has just been excellent. There really isn't that much that is cooler than siudden death OT in the playoffs.

Yeah. It is the scene where the cops are in the venue and John Candy's character orders drinks for him and 2 other cops.

Inebriated? I wouldn't know it. :rolleyes:

Scarlet is awesome though, and her Thursday night drinks (lemon drops in case you feel moved to get her one when she graces you with her presence :p ) occasionally result in adorable, silly comments.

'ewe - in reply to your post int he BU thread....I can always be bribed with a Kelly's Roast Beef sandwich. I need to give you your poster from the banquet. We should meet up soon. I'll be at a conferenc for work starting this Saturday thru Thiursday so when I get back I'll email you to see when you're free.

And mookie - if you ever show up here tonight, I called about tix to the event next Friday. You can buy at the door but I have a form to order ahead of time if you want to do that. I figure I'll drive in as well and leave my car in town if you;re OK driving. We should probably chat about this via email and not bore the rest of tLodge.

Sounds good to me. I won't be around this weekend anyway (heading up to NH), but my better half and I will be around next weekend, and I'll be around after school every day for the foreseeable future.

It's not self-centered if it is true! ;) :p

(plus the whole ruler of the south thing is from a very old edition of HG-YBI where we divided up the country amongst ourselves, I got the short end of that with the South.)
