You've had Blue? My best store (about 25 mins away, where I buy most of my premo liquor) has the standard 'briefcases' of that and they're $270. Honestly, even if I were a rich man, I would not spend that kind of money on alcohol.

One of my exes loved Scotch, bought her Blue once, for a nice surprise gift.

And yes, to answer your question, that was a good night. :D

If you have no standards at all, any night can be considered good.

In wisconsin, anally violating a deer probably is considered a highlight for many.

I have standards, and all I can say is "wow.";) ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

...Evening, Lodge. Had my "cooking audition" tonight. No word, but I don't think I got the job (despite leaving my apartment quite early, I ended up stuck in traffic thanks to the Bruins and Sox), so I was a bit late. I am hoping that my awesome food will over come that, but I'm not feeling particularly hopeful.

Then had dinner with the "best friend" (she's been MIA since before Christmas). This is the one that was married in October. Well it was a 3 hour dinner because we had much to catch up on and I was exhausted afterward. Let's just say she and her husband are living in an "alternative lifestyle" and after talking about it for awhile, it's just a lot to process. :o

So between those two events, I don;'t feel like doing anything other than vegging on the couch and watching the B's (and then some other crappy tv).

Edit - I wish Scarlet had a helicopter.
Hope the cooking thing works out. A thermador with dust???? Sacrilege!

As to the alternate thing- shakes head. I thought that went out of style when I was a kid.

So, it has been a pretty good day. Found out I'll be an Assistant Navigator on our cruise to Europe this summer, so I'll be doing lots of work associated with navigation... creating voyage plans and correcting the charts we'll be using. It'll be a ton of work, but it shouldn't be too bad and the people I'm going to be with are all good workers for the most part.

Now I'm working all night on a voyage plan for one of my classes and then maybe studying for 2 tests I have tomorrow morning, otherwise it will be cramming right before the tests. Oh well, tomorrow is my last day for the semester, then its to the bar tomorrow night and driving home Friday.
Congrats!

If it's been 4 hours, you should see your doctor. :)

 Just when I was thinking the conversation was cleaning up:p
Good Morning boys!

Morning Lodge

Busy busy busy. I've been running around like mad since I got here a couple of hours ago. Time flies when you're busy!

Denver is having having the kind of day which makes it possible to see if April showers really do bring May flowers. And yes, we can use the moisture. ;)

I hope everyone is having a good week.

Rain here in C. Springs, too, but a fine cigar on my way to work this morning helped improve my spirits. Plus, now I smell like cigar, and I find that it helps keep people away during the day.

Win-win!

Good morning, Lodge!

I had to use the tech support site because I just got my mom a GPS and couldn't remember a couple of the shortcuts to make it work. While I'm reading the tech support document I start having deja vu...then I remember...I wrote that document. Should I be worried that I didn't remember that...

Didn't get the catering job (not surprised). Pretty bummed. :( BC may have come through with summer school though, waiting to hear back.

Should've went with the tacos. ;)

Bummer about that, 'ewe, but there'll be other opportunities.

:( That is too bad. Think of it as experience for the next time.
