The stealth bomber or whatever military plane that they had for the flyover for tonight's Sox-Yankees game flew over my building. The whole place shook.

That was one of the things that made living in South campus interesting. If you forgot there was an important Sox game, all of a sudden you'd here a military plane fly over your apartment! :eek:

Didn't think they could have as it flew over about 7:40. So, unless they slammed on the brakes shortly after it flew over my place, they probably couldn't have had it for the broadcast. :)

It was two F-16s over Fenway tonight. :)

Baseball Tonight talked about/showed them.

Everyone knows how much of a ripoff they are...except the kids and Southerners. Just look at the six-pack of whatever they sell at the local grocers and that's what you'll pay for a single at the truck.

But really, you're out there, and that truck rolls on by, and boom, you want some ice cream.

Plus, I haven't seen an ice cream truck in years. Nothing like grabbing a popsicle while playing kickball/whiffleball as a kid, on a hot summer day. Nostalgia right there. That is worth the extra cost.

Marquette has one. It rolls through the campground on Thursday nights. She makes a boatload off of the campers.

I'm a big fan of the chocolate eclairs from those ice cream trucks.
