I'm the same, I rarely, if ever carry cash. I use Excel to keep a pretty strict budget, so it's much easier to track exactly where the money goes if you check your online account. I also find that I'm more apt to spend cash id I have it onhand.
This. Having a debit card keeps me honest.

hello all.

back from work.

i would like not to work.

Just did the schedule. lil has a game the Fri nite of the HE play offs. What is the likelihood he will play his game? zero.
I would like not to work either, but alas...

Evening, Lodge. The day is almost done, thank Parise.

I'm going to eat leftover Chinese food now.

I havent found a chinese place i can trust to give me what i want yet. When I lived up by Catholic U there was a place that was more than satisfactory but its not worth traveling to the other side of DC (yet).

This. I, too, am having this trouble. Of course, it has cut down the amount of delivery I order to zero and the amount of eating out at restaurants is down significantly too.

(there's no non-dirty way to word that, you pervs)

Thanks for all the sympathy cards, ya bunch of in-grates!

Sorry to hear, mook, with a name like that he must have been a great guy!

thanks.

he was a decent fella. he and my aunt never had kids, so all of us became their children. he drove up here many times while i was at school with her. when i came to visit BU the first time they wanted to come. during a summer i worked up here they came. for my graduation they came. they did that for all of my extended family (14 grandkids from my grandfather (my aunt's brother) and another 21 great nieces and nephews.

i wasn't the only one wearing a red tie yesterday for uncle ray. http://www.dalfonso-billick.com/obituaries.htm

Evening Lodge.

Well, my last night in Dallas was going to be going out for drinks with all my conference buddies...until I got food poisoning.

Seriously. I'm going pb on this hotel room. It's BAD.

Gorgeous late-Winter afternoon here in Denver. As I was driving home from the gym a few minutes ago the temperature hit sixty degrees. :)
Temp was up in the 40's today and I actually had the windows down for a bit while I was going thru town. :D

My favorite is the confusion of a total that is $x.77 and I hand the cashier bills and 2 pennies.

Once at a food court I think I ended up paying $0.30 for my pizza. I don't remember the totals but the kid didn't type in how much I gave him correctly, he looked at the screen, knew that change amount was wrong and came up with something different on his own.
That is always a good trick to pull on them. And if they screw up in your favor, its not your butt that's going to get chewed out at the end of the shift when the Till ends up being short.

Hi Lodge.

I've always wanted a dog. Growing up I wasn't allowed to have anything bigger than a hamster. :( Anyway, now I think I may finally be responsible enough to own a dog. I can afford it, I have a nice big fenced in yard.

So, I've been spending too much time looking at dogs that are up for adoption, and the boyfriend and I went to a pet store last weekend knowing they'd have some adoptable dogs there.

There was an adorable newfie mix (their best guess) there. She's not all that big, maybe 40 pounds, and about 5 years old. I liked her. I especially liked that they took her out to talk to a family with 2 young boys (9 or so) who were very hyper. While the volunteer talked to the family, Lady (the dog) came over to sniff and say hello to my bf and I.

I want her. I still have to figure out a few things like, would it be ok to leave a dog alone for 9-10 hours while I'm at work, and who would watch her when I go on weekend hockey trips, etc.
Like I told you on facebook, I would be willing to doggysit it.

This. Times, like, a bazillion.

I'm going to eat leftover Chinese food now. And I'm a tad buzzed at the moment, though not nearly enough to have an epic drunk post. Sucks for all of you, though, huh?
Have another Martini!!! Please!! :)

Could you make it stick to the ceiling?? ;)

Evening everybody, today was a good day here. Got a massage during class, went home and took a nap in the sunshine that was on the couch, and then had pizza for dinner. Good times. Now just trying to figure out what I wanna do tomorrow. Need to pick up some more ink for the printer here, should swing by AAIMT as well, and I'm also thinking of going to Findlay friday night for some hoop action. Haven't seen a GV game all winter and well, might just be their last here as they're more of the outside looking in right now for the NCAA's.

If you're going to puke everywhere then you oughta just trash the room, GnR-style. :D

Sorry to hear it though, feel better!

Greetings and good morning from Hawaii! Only 1AM here. No hockey within sight around here but I am getting by. Watched some baseball in the rain instead.
