Yup, I'm here. I went to bed early last night so I had a lot to catch up on.
'Morning, Lodge!

S'upp y'all.

I am in a non-smoking room near the Carlisle exit off the PA turnpike that is newly non-smoking in name and lack of ashtray only. Dam stinky!! Got another 3hr drive to get to the church for the funeral and then we'll turn around and head back home, stopping on the way in Allentown at a cowboy store to lucchese boot shop ;). Hope there is no snow in the mountains!!

I'm holding out for a 24 volt Milwaukee cordless set.
.

28 volt or 18 volt in Milwaukee, either one pretty nice

Howdy kids, I can take bandages off and take a shower later, yea:D

And we're all grateful for that! Phwew, what a stink! ;)

Morning Lodge. Shoulder still hurts like hell. Can't do much that requires any strength with the arm away from my body. :(

If the peewees win their next game they get at least two more games and maybe 4 more. Our practice scheduled for tomorrow afternoon has been moved to a shared practice as the Varsity team decided they wanted that ice time in case they win tonight and go to State.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

taking the morning off to catch up on sleep... I've got a low grade cold which is enough to give me all the symptoms but in their most watered-down flavors. Sorta like when the kool-aid has been cut with so much water its a faint version of itself. Anyhow, its still got me feeling tired.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Hi Lodge.

It's Spring Break at Michigan, which means I've been playing trumpet a bit more. Minnesota's b-ball team was awful last night. My seat for viewing them was pretty good.

Saturday I skipped out on my planned trip to Notre Dame (considering the hockey outcome, I'm glad I wasn't there) and instead went to dinner with the boyfriend. He took me to the Melting Pot (fondue restaurant). It was wonderful.

Bf is at home sick now. He left work early yesterday. I think we have the same cold. I'm at work. His being a slacker is really tempting me to go home.

There's a Melting Pot here about a block away from my office. Never been. Thought about it, though. What did you get?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

I think you can get the batteries (maybe the entire thing, maybe just batteries inside the old case) replaced at Batteries Plus, and they'll test them to see if that is the issue.

Evening, Lodge. I probably won't be around for a while, but I'll be thinking of you while I'm in nice, warm North Carolina.

...ignore the fact that it'll be the same temperature there as here. :o
Don't know about Raleigh, but it is supposed to getup into the 60s over the weekend here. :)

'Morning everyone. I want to go back to bed, but got too many chores to do before work. Plus I'm supposed to meet one of my colleagues from the corporate office for lunch today.

4 courses of deliciousness.

Had a Wisconsin cheddar fondue...it had beer in it, and the bf isn't all that adventerous with the different cheeses. That course came with carrots, celery, apples and bread to dip.

Average salad for the 2nd course.

3rd course was from the seasonal menu. Basically, it was a bunch of meat to cook in oil. Our favorite was the roasted garlic crusted chicken. It also had filet, ny strip, bratwurst, and ravioli (we skipped the shrimp as neither of us likes seafood).

Dessert was dark chocolate with amaretto fondue. (came with rice krispie treats, brownies, cheescake, strawberries, and bananas for dipping) mmmmmm.

Hello Lodge!

Missed out on the last house I bid on too, but I'm going to look at another one over lunch today. It is in the same neighborhood (which I liked alot), the same price, a little bigger, and just came on the market yesterday. So the search continues....

My mom had people over for fondue around Christmas time last year, it was the only time I've done it...I got yelled at for dipping the raw filet in the cheese instead of the oil. How was I supposed to know! The raw beef dipped in cheese tasted really good.

You know, I think you are right. At my house this winter we've had a total of nine or ten inches. Some parts of the state might even be measuring in feet. Yesterday's 'storm' (i use quotes because by New England standards it wasn't a storm, it was just snow) would have left another four inches, but it melted as soon as it hit the ground. Which is good, as no-one here can handle driving in snow. Well, except me, but I'm perfect, so what else would you expect. :p ;)

See my question in the high school hockey thread. Or check your rep and call my cell. :)
