Edit - does anyone know why married couples who clean together have more sex? Stupid psychology.

Cleaning the house? Or cleaning each other? :D Involving a shower, for example, would be effective . . . but only in one of those scenarios. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

Do you think it's booked with people who are expecting to be there and if their school doesn't make it they will cancel?
Highly doubtful you'll get a room at the Holiday Inn. It's the closest hotel to the arena, and anyone booking a room there is highly unlikely to give it up. If you want a room there, you pretty much have to book a year in advance for this event.

You may want to consider using hotwire or priceline - I think those are the cheapest ways to get rooms anywhere near the X.
Also, if I go, I will most likely not make it in for the Thursday game. But I may fly in Thursday night. If I go. Only because one of the hotels I researched said they would only book with a three-night stay. If I go. Because BU is, at the moment, holding a home ice position.
You could fly in Thursday afternoon and arrive in time to check in *and* go to the play-in game. As of right now, there is a distinct possibility of it being MN and UND. If that materializes, the atmosphere for the play-in will be the best of the entire tournament most likely.
'splain please.
He's an idiot that doesn't know that we already know you apparently.

Hoven must be trashed. He just sent me a text saying "nice win." We lost 7-4. :p

I was mocking your team. Moran.

You're not the brightest knife in the tree, you know that?:p

And we weren't trashed (at that point). :)

The issue with Thursday is taking the day off of work. I have the days, but I am swamped right now. I saw that there is a 5:30-ish flight so I could work most of the day and fly out that night.

Add hours to the preceding workdays and subtract them from Thursday to fly out earlier. :D

(Seriously, if the play-in ends up being MN-UND, you really don't want to miss it).

I heard the atmosphere at Mariucci this year for the Gophers-Sioux game was kind of meh.

FYI, if there are any lodgers that aren't watching the USA-Canada game, you are missing out on some sweet hockey...

I'll probably be adding hours to the preceding workdays anyway because I have so much going on. It has nothing to do with subtracting anything from Thursday. It has more to do with schedules of projects and where some of them will be those days. If I go. And if I go, I'll probably have to bring my laptop and Blackberry to check emails.

Did you see my blog recommendation to you earlier?

Comparing atmosphere between the X and Mariucci is blasphemous. Mariucci's atmosphere must overcome 3000 old people who make no noise at all, and against teams not named UND, UW, or SCSU, about 2000 empty corporate seats.

When UND and MN meet in the X, the arena is packed with loud and often inebriated people. The 2007 title game involving these schools was the best F5 atmosphere I've ever experienced.
