I'm trying to figure out why. So......the Gophers in 1980 were without a lot of their players because they were with Team USA and then Team USA won the gold? Does that work?

I need to program the dvr to record the BU game tomorrow since it's on at the same time as the USA-Canada game tomorrow. I'm sure the dimwits at ESPNU are thrilled at the programming snafu.

Yeah, pretty much. Even if I wasn't going to the F5, I still probably wouldn't go to the Joe, as most of my friends who would go would be in the band and would be occupied by that.

So on recommendation of friends who use it I am going to try the P90X workout. I've never been someone who will go to the gym with any consistency, so anything to get me to exercise on a regular basis is a good thing.

I didn't buy their overpriced accessories, just the workout+bonuses set. Figured I can get some dumbells/door bar, etc. cheaper elsewhere.

...and if I don't use it, go go money back guarantee!

One of my friends just started the P90X thing - he said it's going ok. Haven't checked back with him since the first week though.

Could have gone the Bakunin route, but this is G-rated and definitely true right now.

stopped at the burlington mall tonight after tyler's game. we didn't realize the place closed at 9p (we only ended up with an hour then to walk around). as we're leaving the boys are hungry, so we run inside cheesecake factory. we hang around the bakery looking at offering and two of the guys tell me they want the "30th anniversary chocolate cheesecake". well, ya know slices are $7.50 , so mookie figures 'just buy a whole cake'. which i do for $27. she tells me, "they are frozen, so it'll take 2hrs to thaw." i think, of course, it's a big *** cheesecake.

well i get home and wait the two hours. i get out the butcher knife to cut. right through... thawed. good.

i pull out a piece and it's 2/3rd 'cake' and only two thin slices of cheesecake inside.

boys no longer get to pick what we get!!!!

Evening, Lodge. Went to BW3s with some friends... they really were not nice to the wait staff.

I hate that, and also if I'm with people who don't tip well/enough (especially if it's just one tab for the group). Maybe it's me having experience on the other side of the equation, but I usually go 17%-20% unless it's really bad, but I've rarely had bad service any place I go.
