One of my friends just started the P90X thing - he said it's going ok. Haven't checked back with him since the first week though.

Well obviously if it works well I am going to say something on here.

If it sucks, it shall fade away with this thread and Gopher NCAA hopes.

I hate that, and also if I'm with people who don't tip well/enough (especially if it's just one tab for the group). Maybe it's me having experience on the other side of the equation, but I usually go 17%-20% unless it's really bad, but I've rarely had bad service any place I go.

Eh, they weren't treating him well through the entire night, but got their panties in a bunch when he asked for dessert orders, they said it was their son's b-day, he said, "Oh, I can get him a free sundae," and walked off without taking their dessert orders. They got ****ED and when he came back, they called him an idiot and gave him a lot of *. The waiter didn't handle it well either, but they were jerking him around all night (demanding twice as many tables as we needed and not giving them up, not ordering promptly, etc.)

Hockey is alright. Deserved a better fate last night, but we get our archrival clarkson for the first round next weekend (5v12 matchup), then possibly play the 4th best team Colgate if they win for the chance to go to Albany for the championships.

Heading back to school early tomorrow to get back in time for the gold medal game.

The mountain I ski at got over 8 feet, plus whatever they got today. Yeehaw! (Ya, ya Shot; I know thats a routine weekend out in OldManLand.)

What have I missed since Thursday afternoon?

Hockey is alright.

Both feet and my big ol' backside are in the room and we ain't leaving for at least a week! Beating Yale made all the pain of the last 2 months a tad more bearable.

Wait......you guys are in fourth?? That's home ice for your conference playoffs, right?? Why is it that I thought your team was..........not good?(no offense) And you're going to the F5?

Don't be mistaken, except for Miami, then entire CCHA is not good this year. Plus, had tonight's results gone differently, they could've ended up at 7th place in the bottom half of the league.

Hey Lodge

Just got home a little bit ago. I spent all day looking at houses, found a couple possibilities. The one I liked the most is, surprise, the most expensive, but it has also been on the market since August, so I might get it for less than listed. The other 2 need some work. We'll probably be putting in an offer on the one I liked the most tomorrow. Then a huge group of family and friends went out to eat to celebrate my mom's birthday. Overall a good day.

The one I liked the most is, surprise, the most expensive, but it has also been on the market since August, so I might get it for less than listed. The other 2 need some work. We'll probably be putting in an offer on the one I liked the most tomorrow. Then a huge group of family and friends went out to eat to celebrate my mom's birthday. Overall a good day.

When and if you need help moving, lemme know. I'll be glad to help. I may look scrawny, but I'm wiry. I can move stuff.

I'm getting really sick of looking at houses, since about 90% of the ones we look at are so disgusting that I feel like I should shower after I leave. But I'm looking for a diamond in the rough, so I have to look at alot of crap to find some good ones.

What would DHead Boss think about you cruising on up to bb_dl's place in your forklift?

Right now, I wouldn't trust our forklifts worth crap. They think it's better to call in a repair guy once a week compared to just buying a new one.

I hear ya. Although it's not houses, I've gotten really lucky in apt searches. I seem to find that good one more often than not. Although the current one I think is a keeper, due to location, cost, etc etc.

Why do people in a restaurant seem to forget that the wait staff are people too? They make mistakes, have off days etc? But I am sorry you were in such an awkward position.

Good luck! I can identify with the need to shower after looking at a house. The place I live in now was like that when I first looked at it.

Why do people in a restaurant seem to forget that the wait staff are people too? They make mistakes, have off days etc? But I am sorry you were in such an awkward position.

I hate being in that position. 9 times out of 10 the server isn't doing that bad of a job. The worst is when the place is packed and people complain that the server wasn't checking on them every 5 minutes. I usually tip more since A) I know the people I'm with won't tip well and B) they deserve it for putting up with being treated like they were.

Most people act like doosh's when they're the customer and the employees don't bow down to them. Best part about my job is I'm now have a little bit of empowerment to end it.

Oh and if you go to a restaurant (like saaaay.....Olive Garden) that gives you a pager to let you know when your table is ready, remember to give it back to them. And if for some reason you forget and go somewhere else (like saaaay....Target) don't just leave it in your cart.
