Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

Pffffft. Slackers;)

21/19 credits last year (19 with 2 zero credit labs), then 23 and 17 (again, 2 zero credit labs) this year. However, it leaves me with 28 credits for next year.

FWIW: My B.S. degree ends up being 169.5 credits, 18 of which come during my summer shipping things.

Yeah.. mine's only 128. 140 with my minor, I believe.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

Pffffft. Slackers;) yes, I realize that engineering courses are significantly difficult. We have several engineering programs here (Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, etc) that also take USCG licensing courses on top of the regular courses.
Ok smarty pants
If you want to tell me how to relate a force, a moment and a torque into principal stresses im all ears

I've found that the value/work associated with each credit is different throughout time and varies from school to school. I have friends that got the same degree as I did, from different schools, have the exact same class count for more credits, but then they'd need more credits for graduation. Its not a very good comparison when you're comparing schools, since they all seem to define how much a class is worth in their own way. At least that's what I've noticed.

True. Most of my classes are all 3 credits, meeting twice a week for 1.25 hours or once a week for 2h 30m. However I have a 4 credit (twice for 1h50m) as well this semester.

Plus, I can't lie. Several of my classes are business related garbage that I likely won't use, since they don't pertain to driving a ship:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

IIRC he started kindergarten a year late, or something.

Actually, PB's really hard on me when it comes to school, but that's a good thing. I got yelled at last night when I was on USCHO when I should've been studying, and that actually caused me to study. I'm really a retard when it comes to time management, and having him around forces me to actually do schoolwork. The fact that he's already been through all of this means that he has the ability to help me prevent it happening again.

As nice as it is to have someone pushing you to do work, it's easier in the end to just develop your own work ethic. Trust me on this. :o

And with that, I'm going to go work on a 25 page term paper. :p

I never had braces. :D

I was told that I could get them, but there wasn't a big need for it, since I have 2 teeth that are crooked, and they're not hurting anything and they aren't noticable we decided it wasn't worth it.

Me, neither. They thought for sure I was going to have issues when my four front teeth began growing in behind my baby teeth, but everything readjusted and turned out fine.

Now, cavities, on the other hand. That's been a challenge. Not from a lack of care, but my teeth are very grooved and are thus more prone to decay-causing elements. :(

Near as I can tell, anyone in this state can get a medical marijuana card. Just go to a friendly MD, complain about back pain, and you'll get a script. Why bother even having a carded system if that's the case?

If this is the case, the people that get caught smoking the stuff illegally are just that much more stupid.

*facepalm*

Abuses such like this are why I'm hesitant about this system.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

Braces sucked the first time for me, I can't imagine going through it again. :(

Braces weren't terrible for me; however, I played the single worst musical instrument for someone with braces. (I'm also just waiting for the inevitable TMJ diagnosis.)

I had to schedule my adjustments and rubber bands around Solo/Ensemble and other big shows so they wouldn't mess me up.

I never had braces either. I had my first retainer when I was 4 years old, and went through a lot of those, but my teeth are straight.

The downside is, I have soft teeth and am prone to cavities as well. I've had two root canals already. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

Had my Psych test this morning (and I think psychology is for the birds, just for the records - what a bunch of horse hockey :p ). I think I did okay, I'll be curious to see how I did once she posts the answer key this afternoon (she doesn't give back the exams, but instead hands out a sheet for everyone to transfer their answers onto and then check against the posted answer key. You can then go to Office Hours and see the exam questions).

Did my homework in stats on regression, which caused me to regress to about 5 years old and stomp my feet. I'm not quite sure I understand what the problems were asking. I'll be asking a few questions in class today.

Going to Sprint after school to see what they have in store for phone upgrades. I'm wondering if I remind them that I've been a loyal (and on-time paying) customer for 5 years that that might get me some sort of discount on the phone? I found 2 that I like, but I object to forking over 100$ for it... :o Regardless, it's time to start looking since mine doesn't seem to want to charge much any more (it's the connection between the phone and the plug.

Off to see Avatar in IMAX and 3-D tonight, I think. Didn't get to see tcbg this weekend, so we're going on a date tonight instead.
AW. No dates when they work in College hockey:(

It's a wonder he had any time to help make the baby.

All you need is five seconds.

I had them twice. And when I went for the consultation for that second time, the orthodontist told me that my bite was off and would result in my overbite coming back again and the one thing that would correct that was to have surgery. So, the braces went on in July to get my teeth into position and that January I had surgery on my lower jaw. They broke it, slid it forward so my bite would be aligned, and I was wired shut for 8 1/2 weeks.

My 9-yr-old just got braces. You're not helping.

Are you visiting Dave?

I've never needed braces, but I've had to get a lot of fillings and a couple teeth removed in recent years.

Good morning.

Evening, Lodge. While I'm eager to get back to work, and happy that my mom is doing better, I had to have one of my cats euthanized today. Turns out he had a blood clot that, even if the vet had caught it sooner, was **** near impossible to treat. :(

This 7&7's for you, Tigger.

That's good to hear Shirtless.

Good Luck, May your brain vomit all its knowledge straight onto your exam paper.
Us too- we are hovering on the line b/w 1-3, 3-5 or more. Hows that for specific?

Good Morning Boys!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! terrible tuesday.
PASSED!!! With 88% right. Considering it was a 132 question test that had 87 fill in the blanks where I had to spell correctly either the name of the muscle or bone. And well, you guys all know that the Spellchekcer is my friend, so that's pretty darn good for me.

Never had em either. But I have been putting off going to the dentist for a while, schedule has been kinda busy for that. :o
