too warm in my apartment... the heat has never been on, window open, 43 outside... summer in this place is going to be hell on my electric bill.

that's the way it is when I walk into mommy daycare everyday on my way to work. Congratulations, you're prematurely old.

I've been a forklift jockey for close to 16 years. I'm used to warm temps. So, I keep my apt warm.

My place is really different depending on upstairs & downstairs. I know heat rises, but this is ridiculous. I've got the thermostat set at 67.

Sounds like bbdl's/Shirtless's place.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

The biggest temp issue I have is the tile floor in my entire apartment. It's makes the floor really cold (and chills the apartment quickly). Luckily, 1) I don't pay for heat, and 2) the heat vents are spaced well throughout the apartment.

Same problem in my apartment. Heat goes gonzo when it gets cold, and I'll return from work to find it's 90 degrees in my apartment. Might be some greenhouse effect from the sun as well.

Also, the boiler is in the basement, which makes it think it's colder than it really is.

Eh, I don't pay heat, oh well.

I don't pay heat, but A/C is a ripoff, given that I have a wall unit, and not central air.

where's that?
Monte Carlo. She may be easy to miss as she was the Midget's height. Toooone body, though, and she could move. Me and the other straight single guy in the group saw her in the "window" as we were walking back from the Bellagio, and suggested we go in there. Then I saw the blonde dancing on the bar that was more my "type". I went up there a lot. :D

Gopher fans have enough trouble showing up on time for Friday games, so I'm skeptical about how a Thursday game would be. I'm also skeptical about North Dakota's fanbase coming out en masse if they'd have to miss at least two days of work/school for potentially only one game.
North Dakota travels better then most teams in the country. Yes, they will take the days off to come down. Plus, as Bakunin mentioned there are a lot of alumni in the Cities, and within driving distance...

Oh and for those wondering about my excessive ditto's from the other night, that is because of the god **** 5:00-6:30 window where USCHO's website has maintenance and shuts down for about 20 minutes somewhere in that window. It is extremely annoying, they should just shut toe website down at about 11AM when I am sleeping. bas-tards.

My roommate has been trying to convince me to go out to Vegas for quite a while now. It does combine a lot of my favorite things: poker, buffets, and strippers. :)

You really think that having to take an extra day off, having a much slimmer than usual shot at a conference title, and only having about a 50/50 shot at getting more than one game (compared to only having to take one day off, having two games guaranteed, and a good shot at the title) isn't going to affect how many people make the trip from North Dakota?
