I feel like you should still be able to embed something as an audio file even if it doesn't have an audio file extension.

You know what? I blame monster for this, he's the one who embedded that dammed "on a boat" song in an NMU thread.


I'll have a work around for it tomorrow when I get to work. Otherwise change the five asterisks to dot wav for now.

The filter seems to be board wide; just tried to make the link in the NMU PtC thread and it did the same thing.

You can do it by using YouTube clips, setting the size parameters to 0, then turning autoplay to yes/true. Though I expect they start to ban anything from YouTube next if you start doing that.

I think I'll try making an asx file that will direct to the wav, and put an mp3 copy up too.


Christ all this work for a 14 second clip from a rival school. Someone owes me a KBC or Fishbowl. :p



Speaking of my site hosting USCHO jokes, has the newbie guide I mirrored become the only copy since geocities shut down?

Hey now, I only put it there, I'm not the candy-*** crybaby that Roported it until they made that change. :p

And it wasn't just the NMU thread that had those types of shenanigan's going on at the time either.

That should get updated here, there's a few more inside jokes now, and there is the changes that are taking place at the end of the season with the disbanding of the CHA.
