Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

We were hanging out with a group of 5 Vikings fans (3 guys and 2 girls) on Bourbon Street and one of the guys decided he wanted to stop at one of the strip clubs so he paid for all 7 of us to get in. Who are we to turn down such an offer? It would be rude.

one of my bc friends is THE cheapest guy ever, but he loves strip clubs. the trick when you go with him is to follow and see where he sits. he is able to find the one guy who sits on the rail and tips the most - so he'll get free views of all the snatch. if you're quick you know which guy he's found and go and get on the other shoulder -- if you pick wrong you are four guys away and lose the benefit.

I am going to Vegas in April. With my family, though.

I really don't give an eff though, I'm still gonna puke in someone's shoes.

i'm going looks like next month (march 16th) to get my SB winnings and going with 'family' too. my 21 yo niece and her 23 yo brother. they've never been and want to go.

I wish there was a way I could blare the PK ditty right now... the neighbors are blaring their crappy music again.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

There was an interesting weather item on the six o'clock TV news here in Denver. There was a short clip of the storms which have been hitting the East Coast the last several days. Superimposed over the clip were the snow totals thus far this winter for some cities on the East Coast.

According to the totals Washington, DC has had sixty three inches. Philadelphia has had sixty five inches. Baltimore has had seventy nine inches. In Denver we've had a shade past forty inches thus far this winter. I always get a kick out of meeting people who come to Denver for the first time in winter. There's a widespread misconception that people in Denver are up to their ears in snow from Labor Day to Memorial Day.

I have family scattered up and down the East Coast and for years they've had to deal with more snow in their home towns than I have in Denver. But "shhhhhhhhhhhhhh" you never heard that from me. ;)

Most them don't realize that the snow falls in the mountains "near by" not denver because of the effects of orographic lift...among other things.

You know what? Yes, I have a significant other, and yes, I'm happy, but I f*king hate Valentine's Day.
