A littlie bit, yeah.

And I dont understand the draw to vegas. but I am going there in december and I wouldnt be suprised if I have to go out there at somepoint, that is one of our largest US contracts.

Don't make me come over there.

What? West of the Mississippi? I double dog dare you!

The beers are on me if you do! :D

Speaking of North Dakota, just got word that one of our projects there got a first place award from the upper midwest region of the Design Build Institute of America.

Nice. Congratulations!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

looks like work is going on a 2 hour delay... do i take the day off tomorrow or not... hmmm... most of my reason to bank up time was to travel for hockey this march but it doesn't seem like that reason is there.

I'll be going and probably on time. I have a lot that I want to get done.

I can't believe that I am saying that. :)

I've forgotten what kind of work i have to get done... I'm kinda annoyed that I have to go in, do some meager work, and then go home.

You know, I'd rather come in on time and leave two hours early if that's doable. I had a few minor things left to be done around here... but the big thing is I'd really like to get into the grocery store.

We'll see what happens... maybe this isn't ironclad and they change their minds tomorrow morning... who knows.

They may change their minds after a humongous traffic jam :D , but I don't think that they will. A lot of people from the distant suburbs will take the day off.

As to unofficially moving the two hours to the end of the day, it probably depends upon your supervisor. Mine would allow it, but he probably will telework. He lives in Accokeek at the end of a dirt road.

So, we just found the PPV site of "Princess Carmen", a girl who used to be in Girl Scouts with me. Epic.

Vegas baby!!!!!!!!!!

*insert thumbs up icon here*

I have not been to Vegas since I was a kid (maybe 9 yrs old). When are we going?

You went when you were 9???

I am going to Vegas in April. With my family, though.

Did the Vegas trip with family in August. The trip was fun, except that I had the worst gambling run ever.

Vegas?

I'm in.

Me too. Because I can't have a worse trip (gambling wise) than I did in August.

SG - good luck with the job interview!!!!

Crazy busy with work the last few days - no time to post. Thankfully I was able to go out for my post-work drink on a Thursday.

i'm sure my last boss wouldn't mind... my current boss might.... if I go to the gym I'll need those last 2 hrs to recover as much as possible... i was hoping for another early friday... guess not :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

I got my taxes done. Getting some money back, not as much as last year, but I'm still happy. :)
