GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! finally friday is right!!

Hockey tonight. Let' hope that it looks like hockey and not the Peewee game on the Dunkin's commercial.....

I'm single too, and I honestly don't care either way about the holiday. I plan on spending Sunday watching Daytona, the Olympics, and enjoying a sandwich or two.

Morning, Lodge. Made oatmeal for breakfast this morning, already got a load of dishes done, and I finally got word from Crossmark that I passed my drug screen and background check and can start training for my new job.

Good morning Lodge. My shoulder hurts like hell. :( Been bothering me for a while and I skated with the peewees last night and took a few shots on the goalie. Can hardly lift my hand to comb my hair.

How much training is there to say "would you like to try a sample?" and "No, I can't give you a sample unless your mom or dad is with you."? :confused:

But good luck with the job! Hope it sucks less than working for Sam's.

gmann - how is gII doing??

It's Friday. Yay. It's also payday. Double yay. I have my, well, it's not a performance review, but rather my meeting with my manager about 2010 objectives. Hopefully it will go OK. I'm a little apprehensive as this is the first time we weren't asked to develop our own. I've always whined that we shouldn't be doing that and now that we're not, I'm feeling skittish. Be careful what you wish for!!

So, PB has to come to the sorority's date function tonight. Last night, I had the epic idea to set up PB's roomie with one of my single sisters. This is going to be epic.
However, opinions from the ladies. Should PB wear a black shirt, black pants, and a bright silky red tie OR black shirt, khaki pants, and the silky red tie.

I'm not Brent. It's getting a little thin up on top, but still plenty there to comb (in fact I need a hair cut).

And ASAAG, I am definitely out for tonight, although I expect to skate in warm ups, I won't bring my stick. Outdoor practice from 7-8 so the DVR is all set for opening ceremony and the Gophs-DU.

Neither option appeals to me, but since I'm assuming it's a Valentine's themed fuction, I vote for option A.

Okay, reason #2138 for why I'm going to hell.

Ordered supplies from Office Depot. They have the computerized system that recognizes speech. I immediately screamed "I WANT TO PLACE AN ORDER!!!" in my best "Ding! Fries are done!!" voice.

I got a foreign lady to assist me with my order (yes, I could tell immediately that she was not natively from South Dakota). I paid via credit card with an expiration date of 12/12. I told her that the credit card expired right before the Mayans attack.

We'll see if we get our order on Monday like they said they would...
