Fraternity of Sorority House: A building occupied and maintained exclusively for students
affiliated with and formally recognized as a group by an academic or professional college
or university or other recognized institution of higher learning.

Maybe that typo in the definitions section is why they can't exist :p .

26.15 Prohibited Amusements.

The following listed amusements are each and all, and every component part thereof, hereby declared to constitute public nuisances contrary to the safety, health, morals and welfare of the public, which said amusements are commonly known as:

(1) Carnivals and tent shows where any portion of which or the appurtenances thereto are located in any street or highway or which by reason of their location obstruct traffic in any street or highway,

(2) Street Fairs or Street Shows, including medicine shows,

(3) Shooting Galleries,

(4) Endurance contests or marathons,

(5) Freak shows, where artificial or natural curiosities are exhibited.


So the yearly dogsled race - prohibited by city ordnance. :cool:

with BU off on saturdays before the beanpot, i decided to ecac trip and see some rinks we've yet to visit.

this past saturday was brown.

this coming saturday was going to be ylae, but they have harvard visiting and tickets are tight (only sro left). the boys have no desire to stand. so instead we'll be visiting the Q. toothpaste vs the free falling bobcats instead... then maybe we'll catch ylae during the playoffs ;)

One of the side effects was increased appetite... well, by February of last year I was up to 200 (Thanksgiving of 08 I sat and had 5 helpings of everything while the family just sat there in amazement of what they were witnessing). I just finished a course of prednisone and didn't notice any change of my appetite. I guess it's different for everyone.

Just saw the long range forecast - weather looks bad for Sat/Sun. Of course that could and probably change 13 times between now and then.

And I've met you before, even if it had been raining for about 17 days straight in Ann Arbor and everybody looked like drowned rats. You're not exactly a jumbo petite, either.
