Lil just tested me that he almost got run over by an excavator. The joys of a bus stop in the middle of a construction site. Considering that they arent supposed to be working until 7 and this happened at 10 of aggravates me.

I bet Lil often tests you. :p

ah it's good for the kid. Just like tall slides and climbing fences. Let him get banged around a little.

Mornin' Loj! The tension is rising on the homefront, hoping for a relaxing weekend. Oh, and the "dreaded North Country" trip for the team. Oh nos!

I like Volpe! It's got a very...down home feel. Plus, nowhere else in HE are you so close to the players, ice, bench...

Re: Rep Lodge Thread 89: As The Holidays Approach

Good morning Lodge.

I won't be able to make it to cityslickerville to watch the BSU/mn series. (Mrs. g's aunt passed away earlier this week from a long batter with c and the service will be tomorrow afternoon.) I think this should be an entertaining series though. BSU has a shot of making a statement this weekend against a mn team that has yet to find themselves. However, if BSU doesn't take care of business they might regret poking the bear. Thanks to those of you who emailed me or repped me to offer tix.

It was nice to sleep in my own bed last night. It has been a very productive week but a long one at that and I am fried. I can't wait to dig into the 30 voicemails and the 421 emails I have waiting for me. :(

Condolences to you and your family. :(

Good morning, Lodge. Can't wait to come home tonight to BSU vs. MN or Michigan vs. Michigan State... hooray for picture in picture!

Fortunately teenagers aren't in the habit of exaggerating... :p

Thanks. I should note that Mrs. g was not really close to this aunt and in fact I have never met her. We are going to the funeral out of respect to my mil more so than anything. In fact I think my mil had something to do with this. Why you ask? Once she found out that I was planning on going to the BSU series with Mrs. g and the boys and since she knows how much I enjoy following BSU and having a chance to see some friends and talk to coach she had to get involved and do something about it. :p ;) :D :)

Re: Rep Lodge Thread 89: As The Holidays Approach

Mornin' Lodge. :)

It's Friday and another home weekend!

It's Friday and it's a home and home with the Sparties. And I'm going to both games. And playing trumpet at the game tonight. And going to NYPD for pizza and garlic knots after tonight's game with the Uncle, cousin, and bf.

*happy dance*

I like calling it the Volpe Simplex. :) I'm heading out at 4pm. My temp boss (in this short term re-assignment) is not here today, my actual boss is also out. I was a little worried about leaving early but now I have a Blackberry so I can check on emails for that last hour. We're going to Friendly's for dinner. I'm looking forward to getting a chocolate Fribble. :)

Re: Rep Lodge Thread 89: As The Holidays Approach

We went to a really sad wake last night. We've lived on our house for 17+ years and one of our neighbors moved in around the same time, really nice family & I've spent many a night & early morning solving life's problems on their deck. John's dad died about 5 years ago, his mom died in August; John went to pick up his brother (only sibling) last Friday for their annual deer hunting trip and found him dead in bed. I can't imagine losing my family at such a young age...

Nice! I'm taking the train (possibly with my season-ticket seatmate) and getting picked up by the bf.

Miracle of Blackberry, enabling more and easier hockey viewing. :p
