And they didn't re-hire me this summer when I reapplied. I worked at the Target in TC for 2 years in high school.

The laptop I'm looking at. Asus, Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive, 16" screen, Windows 7, glowing reviews and a good brand from what I've heard (same company manufactures the MacBook Pro for Apple.) $800. You don't get much better than that at that price range.

I'm also going to be getting a new computer after Thanksgiving, but I haven't made a 100% decision yet on what I want to get.

One of my cousins worked at Target corporate in downtown MPLS and was laid off last March or April. Always makes me feel better to know that corpies heads are rolling too.

Exactly. As others have said, it's not the end of the world. They didn't hire me either a couple years ago when I applied.

Evening, Lodge. Had an unusually good day at work, however, coworkers need to stay the * out of my personal business. That, and actually help with the dishes at the end of their shift.

I won't. Even though I took a vacation in August.....I really *ing need this vacation. And hockey is involved!:)

And MNS: I scheduled these days the day after the previous Houghton trip in March!

(and thank goodness, since on Sept 1, they stopped allowing any more vac days in Dec!!!!).

He was, however, talking about me. :mad: Though, to be completely honest, I probably wouldn't have gone on said hockey trip anyway, and I'm actually glad to be working 'cause it'll give me something to do.

Thanks - I'm not too concerned. I'll keep poking away at finding a job, but if all else fails I'll just go into poverty mode after Jan. 1. Besides...

Thats when you whip out your camera phone, take a video of him just going to town there, send yourself or another trusted a copy of the video and then blackmail him for a raise and or other perks. ;)
