The hotel we stayed at was on the other side of the Dubliner, so we walked past the Postal Museum a number of times. We actually thought about going in to see if one of the Hoser's quasi-relatives (her mom's first husband) is in there. He apparently invented the sorting machines the USPS uses while he was at Dartmouth helping to inspire "Animal House".

I work at 7th and Marquette, we weren't notified of it either. We just knew things were getting bad when we couldn't see the IDS Tower...that stands across the street from us.

Now, the 11th floor was notified, but we weren't. It's my suspicion that the company told the building management to notify the profit centers first and the cost centers only if there was enough time.

My bus route home goes along 10th St and 3rd Ave. The city had blocked off 3rd Ave to the south of 10th St. The huge cement blocks that sit in front of the Convention Center were all sitting in front of the church, all along the corner. There was a big gawker slowdown at that corner. Both places just looked like complete messes.

Dunno if anyone noticed, but in the Mpls Star Tribune today, page 2 of the sports section, our very own Nathan was quoted in a collection of blog posts about BrettFavre. :)

Ugh, I have so much crap to get rid of...

Books, games, movies, etc. Not sure what I am going to do with this stuff. Maybe give it to Goodwill if I can't find anyone to take it.

If you want to email me the list of what you have, I may be interested. I'm assuming video games, and if so, any PS2 ones you may have would be the only ones that qualify for me.

Interestingly enough I wasn't referring to video games. I hadn't gotten to them yet. But I do have a bunch of PS1 games still that I don't want. I don't think I own any PS2 games anymore.

Oh and I have these things called umm.. CD's? I don't want those either.

I made a quick list of CD's, Movies and video games (PS1 only so far) in Word that anyone can just download (13 kb)

Not in any kind of alphabetical order btw.

Edit: made it compatible with old Word versions.
