Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Morning Lodge!

I think I got plenty of sleep last night, luckily. I really needed it. Tomorrow I have a friend from school flying in to visit for the weekend, so I'm taking a half day of vacation. I'm looking forward to it, should be a fun time!

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Good morning, Lodge!

Hagen Dazs makes a good coffee ice cream, but not quite as good as the local shop in our neighborhood. Nevertheless give HG a try. Pretty good. ;)
I'll give the Haagen-Dasz a try.

What a wimp, be a man, go without caffeine like I do:D
I tried to do this last year, until I realized:

No. Caffeine is my friend. He helps me deal with this thing called "morning." :p
And afternoons, too...

Busy day ahead today. Should be lots of fun...

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Mornin' kids...

Made homemade cheese ravioli in a spinach cream sauce last night. So yummy! The cream caramel layer cake from scratch was pretty good, too. Would have totally lost out on presentation points, but it was nice and moist and tasted really good with the Breyer's vanilla bean ice cream I bought. :)

'Morning, Lodge. My project for today is to unpack and deal with the last of the boxes from moving. Wish me luck!

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

So you say you'd like a little cool air in your lab these days? And you'd prefer that those hoods in the lab would suck air in, rather than randomly blow it out into your face? Then you might wanna be a little nicer to the Facilities and Engineering folks there at the VA. :p

Sounds like you work in my facilities dept. if it's above 65 outside, chances are its over 100 in the kitchen, with the hood system blowing 105+ air (yes you expect it to be warm in some areas like around the grill & oven, but not in general non-cooking or prep areas too)

Mornin lodge! Up way too early today, and for no good reason, so coffee's on!

ps mel, sounds yummy!

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Got a rep last night from someone at NMU that simply said "spreading". Should I be concerned for my health?

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Having a vag is no excuse...:D
I concur with MNS.
i don't want that... no reason to get in HAA before you absolutely need to.

6p is too early and takes too long then. you want it right before hand, with the players on the ice ready to go.

8, 10 minutes tops. time for some words. then two spotlights to follow each banner up - from the hands of someone meaningful at ice level...

1) beanpot with new year
2) hockey east RS with new year
3) hockey east Champions
4) final four with new year
5) NCAA National Champions (y'all should be here to feel my goosebumps :p )

send up the first.... as it's halfway there, move to the other side of the ice for the next. when the first is up all the way - light out. move to the 3rd - both lights on at the same time.... until the last one. that gets both lights ;)
Is that what you call them? :p
Seeing that list of banners is pretty exciting though.
Alcohol even kills viruses. Besides, I'm assuming you aren't going to be making out with me :p

Already told you that you just need to make an appearance, not get schwasted. And tell said person that he/(she) is coming too. Worst case, you get to show him/(her) some of Marquette's *snicker* finest establishments. ;)
Awful big assumption there.

Is it sad that I'm still envious of your job despite the heat?

Morning, kids! Spent last night packing up boxes in the old kitchen and then going to Natick to take the plates of the old car, then driving to the new apartment and unpacking the bf's car (he came down on a weeknight! :) ). All this moving is for the birds! Tonight, it's back to the old place to pack up more boxes and go through clothes and then out to see Haunted's band play at Paddy O's in downtown Boston.

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Good morning!

57 days until 9 October.
Awesome that means 56 days until I fly to Alaska.

'Morning, Lodge. My project for today is to unpack and deal with the last of the boxes from moving. Wish me luck!
Good luck.
I need to start packing. And find out just how empty my bank account will be after next Friday. Followed by figuring out if cute boy from far away will come visit me next weekend, or if I'm awesome enough at procrastinating (should pack/start moving that weekend) and decide to go visit him. Or I suppose I could just not see him.

Got a rep last night from someone at NMU that simply said "spreading". Should I be concerned for my health?
Yes.

On the plus side, it is a good way to lose weight, between the running around, heavy lifting and sweating I've lost 10 pounds without really even trying. But its like the old saying "if you cant stand the heat..."

:p ran outta witty things to say in rep while trying to reload for duper & hp1015 (gotta score a goal eventually, right?)

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

My buddy called me last night and informed me that he had two VIP tix to the PGA Championship for today and the rest of the tourney. If I wanted them they were mine at no cost. I declined. I am an idiot. :o

You'll get no argument from on that one. And say, you sound an awful lot like a guy I know named Bob Wilson. Hmmm....:D
