Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Ophthalmologist appointment this morning. A busy week on the medical front.

Back. :) I finally made an appointment to have YAG laser surgery in October. It is needed after cataract surgery to remove material that can't be reached. I have procrastianted this since 2001. :) It's really nothing, which I know since I had it on the other eye, but ...

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

I bought a new All-In-One printer last month and hooked it up via a USB cable. It worked fine. A few days later I realized that I could have hooked it up via my router and then my notebook computer could access it also.

For reasons that I won't try to explain, I decided to hook it up using a wired connection instead of wireless although I could do it either way. So I needed a cable which I bought on the way home from the doctor today. The first problem was opening the packaging that came with the cable, and the result was a cut finger.

Now the printer instructions came with a special section dealing with changing from a USB connection to a network connection, so I figured it would be easy. I successfully got it to print a test page :), but then a message came up that said that the scanning function wasn't working , and I should reboot and reinstall the software. That sounded easy enough. I rebooted and the scanning error problem came up again. When I tried to do install the software it claimed it was already installed. (But it indeed could not scan.)

All I could think of was to uninstall everything and start over. It seems to work now. :)

That was fun. Not. :(

Do people about half my age have an easier time with this sort of thing?

Nope, I definitely suck at doing that kind of thing!
I didn't, he really is an idiot:p I saw Tiger play in Florida, it really is cool to see pro golf live and in person.
Yes, it is a lot of fun. I saw Tiger play the last time the PGA was at Hazeltine.

I just read that Tiger was over the green in 2 on a 642 yard par 5.
Wow
Watching golf live and in person in Augusta, Georgia is pretty fun I will say.

Little better than the Funia Classic:p The thing that was cool about the Funia was, the kid and I were amoung the only ones there. I was about 10 feet from Tiger hitting one off the cart path:D .

Pfft. VIP tix. Free booze, food, lodging, easy access in and out of event, watching 98 of the best golfers in the world and no work just play. No thanks. :)

(Remember, I picked Vegas over watching my team play in the F4)

If you have a convenient golf club, you should ask the nearest person to bean you with it. :p
