This guy was cool. His first comment was "I'm surprised the ambulance caught up to you". One had passed us right before he pulled me over. I saw him slow down and I thought "uh-oh", but then he didn't turn around to come get me. I saw the ambulance, so I got out of his way, and after he went by, here came the trooper. 58 in a 50 at 11 PM on a Saturday night. I got a warning. I'll take it and run.

Yes indeed. 5+ at that time of night will almost always get looked at.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! sunday, day of rest (and party)
Annual Christmas party today. Ready as I am going to get- 37 bags of cookies to give away. Kielbasa soup, lasagna, beef stew, salad, tomato salad, quiche-bacon,
quiche, cheese, broccoli calzone, cookies (lace, jumbles, sugar, peanutbutter, chocolate treasures, pepparkauka), cheese platter, pepperoni and summer sausage with mustard, chips, veggies and dip, fruit and dip, chocolate cookies with peppermint dip to eat. Various drinks.

Mr and Lil are at hockey practice.

Got an automatic soap dispenser at the neighborhood yankee swap last night. Have been intrigued by them but would never have bought one!

6-8" of snow expected tomorrow, and several more inches is possible on Thursday. If we receive at least 9" over the next 12 days, we'll break the all-time record for the snowiest December. Since these two storms are expected during my 9 night stretch of work, I'm sure both will score direct hits to make travel as inconvenient as possible.

Hi Lodge. Off to do some minimal food shopping and running to Staples to get a gift. My brother is here from California. He wants to go to the mall today. He probably won't be waking up till close to noon though so hopefuly I can get my own stuff done before he wakes up.

Mini mites this morning. I get there and want to head into the bleachers with the kids to watch the little one. Some moron mom is taking the while steps leading up to dress her kid who is there late. Being my offspring the two older boys and Sasha step over him D), as it's my turn he is ready and gets up to join his team. He lifts his stick and butt ends me in the groin area, to the right leg. The mom sees this and looks embarrassed - I say before she has a chance to speak, "I'm fine, I tucked it down my left leg this morning."

Yawn!!! long day yesterday. Got up early to go to Dans to watch the D2 championship game, then went and saw Tron later on that evening with the GF. didn't get home til late. I slept in til 12:30 today.

Cayenne is WONDERFUL. A buddy uses it in his chili, and it brings such a slow, warm heat with staying power. Really adds to the flavor.

you'd think a re-release would have been in order... but I've seen iffy reviews on the original... I'm going to wait for the first tron to be re-released.
