Eh, it's a fun movie, if hideously out of date. Take it in that context, and you'll probably enjoy it. (It's been a long time since I've seen it too. Maybe my sister will lend it to me, since I gave it to her on DVD a Christmas or two ago.)

True, heck, I thought it would have been a good idea to have had a showing of the original Tron right before they had there midnight releases of it last week.

I'm arguing why they may not have released it to DVD pre-sequel... You're talking to the guy who will spend the afternoon watching half-baked scientifically-inaccurate made-for-TV disaster movies. I think I can handle it :)

Do I go to the Happy Hockey Table because RPI won an exhibition game over the US Junior team in a 12-round shootout, or to the *hockey table because our ****ing travel partner can't win when it would help us?

The hell? Ugh... Disney must have stuck it back in The Vault or wherever they keep things people want to see again. I know I spent no more than $20 on it a few years ago.

Rumor was that Disney pulled the first Tron from the shelves earlier this year. Typical business move for them.

Yes and no. Yes, it's a dick move, but no, it's really a smart business move. Supply/demand. Basic econ. The one true rule. Hype from Tron (remake) will create a demand for Tron (original). 5 years ago, did anyone really want to sit down and see the first one? Outside of hardcore fans, no. This creates hype. Then, hello "super re-issue limited release awesome Tron1 dvd!"

Our family brunch was a huge success today. How can I say it went so well? There was a marriage proposal made and accepted. Two of the five kids who spent last weekend with me and my wife in Breck, got engaged. The young lady's dad made a nice toast in honor of the occasion and welcomed his prospective son-in-law into the family. My wife and I approached all the direct family members involved and invited them to join us for a ski weekend in early January, which is as soon as all parties involved are free for such a gathering.

It was a really nice day thanks in largest part to Mrs. Shot's efforts. Basically, I was in charge of heavy lifting and staying the h/e/l/l outta the way.

Enjoy the rest of your night folks. ;)
