I get cut out of a lot of the good stuff because i'm technically a contractor. I do get invited to the luncheons though, so that's a plus. Makes me hope I can get signed on at 3M as a full-time 3Mer.
Wow, quiet today.
We had a work outing to Vine Park Brewery a few weeks ago and we bottled it Thursday. Gotta love team building! Good stuff.

Got up here in nh early for tyler's peewee game... Just saw the 2nd period of bishop guerin vs Nashua south. BG skating circles around them. Whole 15 minutes in this end. Goalie playing ok, still 5-0. Sorta like bc-bu two weeks ago..

I was at my kids' elementary school this week helping out in the library. Two little kids had to find New Zealand in the encyclopedia, so I was showing them how to use one. On the way through the N's we passed New Hampshire, so naturally I paused there and taught them that the *real* name was *Cow* Hampshire.

Evening, Lodge. Home from work, got the brisket rubbed and ready to go in the slow cooker tomorrow, whipped up a quick BBQ sauce, and am going to make an apple slaw to go with it tomorrow. As for tonight, where's my bottle of 7? Between my dad and work and grief, I'm ready to snap.

Cayenne is WONDERFUL. A buddy uses it in his chili, and it brings such a slow, warm heat with staying power. Really adds to the flavor.

Happy hockey table! SLU wins 6-4 over UVM in their last action before the new year @UNH on the 2nd. Got to see one of my childhood buddies pot his first career goal for UVM tonight too and talked with him after the game for a bit. Now headed out to some christmas party at the bar with a couple guys.

At least it was a truck, and you sort of have an excuse. I know that because I have a Wrangler, an open bottle is acceptable in the back seat, as long as it's as not accessible (buried under a ton of other stuff, or in a spot where I cannot reach it from the driver's seat, etc).

This guy was cool. His first comment was "I'm surprised the ambulance caught up to you". One had passed us right before he pulled me over. I saw him slow down and I thought "uh-oh", but then he didn't turn around to come get me. I saw the ambulance, so I got out of his way, and after he went by, here came the trooper. 58 in a 50 at 11 PM on a Saturday night. I got a warning. I'll take it and run.
