Howdy gang. Back from my annual Christmas dinner and gift swap with my Thursday night drinking buddy. We gave hottie bartender his gift, which he loved. He also remembered last week when the maitre'd had comped my friend and her friend for dinner when I think they thought it was me and my meal was comped. As were our salads and desserts. Score! Then he was nice enough to point out Matt Light and Wes Welker from the Patriots who were sitting right behind us. A really fun night.

I'm taking tomorrow off, though I will have to work during some of it. But as long as I can do it sitting on my couch, I won't mind that much.

I'm pretty sure it's my fault. I awakened the sleeping beast that is Board when I reported Tech's resident pest JOHN_SCOTT_ROCKS in advance of the GLI. I got dinged for calling him a twatwaffle, and I guess it snowballed from there.

I remember reading a lot of stuff between Hokydad and other folks in the WJC thread - dunno if that was before you ROPORTED anything, but none of that is left in that thread.

Actually, I didn't think the Mooch was that bad, but we were more creative than the MN student section on that trip, harassing Max Battimo for his childhood acting past and such. ;)

Plus, the vendor who came down to sell us concessions during the game told us about his trip to Houghton in the 60s, and getting kicked out of the Dee because he was so drunk. :D

So, found out a bit about tDiva tonight while drinking....

One thing that was mentioned...that needs to be posted is that there exist apparent photos of tDiva wearing less clothing than usual....(from her college days, she DID go to northern of all places)

just saying....

but yeah....good night all in all....even Flashy got a bit tipsy tonight....

I saw! I'm still on the Groveland Tap email list, and they sent this out:

For every pint of Summit purchased on Saturday, we'll donate $1.50 to a fund to help the Nook's employees through the holiday.

Then, in the gym this morning, they were showing the NBC Nightly News (we're 14 hours ahead), and I heard them say, "If you're in the Twin Cities, you can make $10 helping the Univ of Minn shovel out their football stadium for the Vikings."

It's crazy Minnesota news, left and right, man! :D (PS -- I'm glad no one got hurt in that fire.)
