Happy hockey table for me too tonight. Took an ugly helmet fan to the Gophers-UMI game today. Nice win. The UMI fan is one of the goalies on my kid's peewee team. They won the consolation trophy in their tourney this AM, beating a hated rival (Eden Prairie) 6-2.

In the semi-final game when they got to 9-1 the coach told them to stop scoring. Two more went in by accident and two lines had to sit a shift. He told them before today's game that he would not stop them from scoring against EP, they were free to keep shooting as long as they could.

At least Michigan only put up 4 on Eden Prairie. ;)

I was driving through Huntsville, Alabama this evening so I yelled out Who Hates Huntsville? I hate Huntsville a few times.

I got to attend my first ever game at the Bank. I got a free ticket from my buddy because his father-in-law got sick. He's living in Iowa City now, went to grad school down there, grew up here in Apple Valley. I was the lone Gopher supporter in a group of Hawkeye fans. It was fun. :D

Did anyone see they couldn't get the eastern goalpost down? They were trying and trying, but it took a lot of effort. I don't think it ever came down fully.

Looked like it was a pretty weak effort there. You get some movated fans there and it really doesn't take that long to yank a goalpost down.

The staff was taking down the goalposts, preparing for fans that were going to rush the field for the celebration. These things are bolted into place, the nuts or bolt heads, I could tell, look like they're a good two inches. They had issues getting one part unbolted, and couldn't get the goal post down to the ground. They had to set it upright again, and then finally take it down.

Are you looking at the threads with yr Droid? Every time I do that it unsubscribes me and I need to resubscribe on my laptop. :mad:

With my iPhone. Seems to be an issue with the mobile version. Ugh, I hate this update more and more with each passing day.

Morning Lodge.
Back after my long, 9 day weekend of deer killing and eating too much. Got a big doe, but the weather sucked, deer didn't want to move in that ****ty freezing rain that we had most of the early part of the season.

I was sick of Christmas season before it started, I might shoot someone by the time December is over. I hate Christmas season. I told my entire family on thanksgiving not to buy me anything because I really didn't want to buy them anything, and I was told that wasn't happening. FML.

Good morning. There's a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning, just barely enough evidence to prove it snowed last night. I hope there's more on the way.
