Re: Rensselaer Engineers: Pick to Click: 2012-13 Edition
REDaero, I got your change from Tinordi to Neal, which was quite useful as he scored three PtC points against the
SUCKS!. MavHockey replied by text that he wanted Joe Zarbo, but it didn't matter because neither of them tallied in the scoring last night.
Congratulations to cnor and hawthr! They each win their second week of the season and it had been a long drought for both of them, what with hawthr last winning in Week 1 and cnor in Week 4. They did it in almost exactly opposite ways with cnor earning at least a point from each of his selections (the only poster to do so) and hawthr getting all seven of his points in Friday's SLU game. hawthr's win pushed him back into first place and a two-point lead over Ralph while cnor's win put him back in the Top 10, switching with FlagDUDE.
Bailen had a goal and assist on Friday against the Saints, but is ineligible as the high-scoring defenseman, so
Jacob Laliberte and
Matt Neal were the high-scoring Engineers at 3 PtC points each. With Laliberte worth more on Saturday, that meant that Neal was the smart pick in the first game. cnor and ehf were the only two posters to pick Neal's goal and assist.
Justin Baker (hawthr, lugnut, and Ralph) was the only eligible Saint to put up four PtC points.
On Saturday,
Bo Dolan scored the first goal of the game and had two assists, too, so he was worth a whopping 7 PtC points. No one chose him.
James Howden's goal from the blue line at 49:08 made him the most valuable Knight, which is kinda like being the shiniest turd. No one chose him, either.
With everyone picking up at least one point for the first time since the St. Cloud State / Sacred Heart "weekend," other than the aforementioned swaps, the only change to the standings was RPI fan 4 life continuing to climb past inactive posters. He is now just four points shy of joining the other fourteen posters who are still playing. In fact, if you only include the most recent six weeks, he has tallied 17 points, good for tied for third.
