Regional Rankings

Re: Regional Rankings

I think there would be a strong case for Adrian/SNC/Stevens Point to be three of the top 5 overall seeds, which would likely lead to an 8-4 split and all play-ins in the East.

Is your need to look important so strong that you aren't aware of the reasons you're the only committee member who has to come on here and run your mouth about these things all the time? Probably too much to ask but think about it there are reasons your colleagues don't do these things and probably are the same reasons the groans about you get louder every year. Be quiet for a change and do a little asking around. It would be helpful.

Re: Regional Rankings

Derek's presence on this discussion board well precedes his membership on any NCAA committees. His discussion here simply continues the role he has played here since he was mere lad.

Bit of an axe to grind, bud? He’s been posting here since he was like 12, gives his opinion as a fan, and withholds when he needs to. Give it a break.

I didn't know posting in here as a pre-teen allows him to speak for an NCAA committee he serves on. I thought all of those discussions were supposed to be secret.

Not sure saying “I think there could be a case for...” equates to speaking on behalf of a committee. Seems like quite a leap.

...but that’s just my opinion; I could be wrong.

But he has to separate Derek the fan and SID from Derek the Committee member. Doing his SID stuff here is one thing, but any hint of NCAA Committee stuff needs to be sequestered.

8/5 split. Adrian to the east and two quarters in the West

8/5 split. Adrian to the east and two quarters in the West

It all depends on whether there are upsets with the AQs. And there usually is at least one... (Though, if someone like Geneseo beats Oswego, that won't have too much of an effect in the end.)

If things hold, hypothetical Oz and Adrian 1s, that limits Adrians pairing due to distance, could you see a 1E vs 1w sure possibly, but then who hosts dun dun dun.

Re: Regional Rankings

Only 12 teams get into the 2018 NCAA Division III Tournament so a 8-5 split is mathematically impossible.
