(Benitendi, Betts & Jackie Bradley Junior).. the passing was superb! Early in the season seeing missed passes, too hard to handle, whiffs....this is a new team, new lines and the kids are making it happen - depth.

I noticed they are actually working an offense, not just teeing up from outside, they are moving the puck around nicely, very nicely for the first time I can recall in a few years....a controlled offense and maturing defense...

D looked awesome Saturday. Don’t really recall Colgate getting any A+ chances on KP.

No offense to Colgate but they're not very good offensively this year. We should have dominated them the way we did. That's the way they need to play every game, and is nothing like we saw against Dartmouth and Union. Hopefully the team continues to improve at both ends of the ice.

See some interesting trend lines in Team Stats:

Top 2 scorers are Chase & Brandon....2 D-men I think i saw only 1 other team with their top scorers being Defensmen, ARMY.

Question: is that causing issues for KP & Shortie? Both of their stats are pretty low, as we would expect...KP is down near the middle, but Shortie is off the radar screen, except for minutes played.

I loved the passing this weekend, that is a new high, in terms of accuracy and delivery. I think early in the season the passes were not clean enough to be handled or enabling clean shot to be taken - - with Wyatt, I am seeing much more poise and control along with far better passing than I have seen in the last few seasons. Encouraging.

What stats are you looking at? Andrew is 2 & 3 nationally in goals against and save percentage.

Connor Clifton played twenty minutes and was a +1 for the Bruins last night.

I don't mind being incorrect predicting a .500 team season! Seeing the energy these kids bring and the maturity on the ice; the way they passed last week gives me some fresh perspective. I recall early in the season watching pucks skip, pop and hop over Nick Jermain's stick and just shook my head saying to myself, "these kids simply do not play together" as they just set up for way too many "one-timers"...assuming Nick Jermain comes back at some point (hopefully, he is OK!) and benefits from this evolution of the team....thankful for a fun season to watch!

Great game for Shortridge. Maine had a ton of zone time but Shortie did his job.

Awesome night for Tufto. Tough night for the captain. Overall the team played well but gave Maine too many opportunities. Expect a tighter game tomorrow.
