Nice win and Congrats to Rand for 500 and Chase for his 100th Bobcat point. Disappointed to see Shorty lose the shutout, but I guess that’s where Josh is going to get ice time if at all. I remember Gartz losing a shutout the same way against Princeton when Myers replaced him at the end of the game up 5 or 6 -0.

What a difference a year makes, leading nation in Goals allowed per game, 15-3 with SEVEN SHUTOUTS,, and a top 3 team in scoring.

Should be a fun second half. Let’s GO BOBCATS!

This team has depth and a will to improve and work together.

Where are we in terms of injuries?

Never saw this team coming. Had any of you predicted this team could contend based on seeing them practice or aware of some insider views?

10 minutes of great play followed by 52 minutes of I don't know what. KP was not good and the team faltered in front of him. Credit to 'Gate for not giving up. They kept coming all night when they could have easily mailed it in after the first 10 minutes. The only thing we can hope for is that this was a wake up call.

Played like the pre-season 8th place team they were predicted to be...one of the best teams in the country thru December... after mid 2nd period, my thinking was good to rest up Shorty and make some line changes to get Jermaine and Boudreau some ice time....ugh!

To me, Colgate was a bigger test on who this team is than UMASS!

Cornell is going to be rough game tonight.

Bigger than all of this, this flu bug that is going around....take care of yourselves!

Hopefully it was just a one-game slip-up. Sometimes it's good to lose to remind you what it feels like. Frankly, I'm surprised it's been this long without a performance like that.

I heard recently KP got sent home from Detroit and USA camps. Team played fine till soft goals.. Just like Frosh year... lacks focus. Rand will dump him this summer. Shorty will have to deliver balance of the year.

KP has become a step down from Shorty, in results, in every game he plays in. Cannot run Shorty out every game and expect him not to wear down.

KP has to get it together, step up. If I recall QUalum's commit charts, there are some good goalkeeper prospects in the pipeline. I like KP and he was a big win when he committed but he just needs to get his mojo and play like a #1 that he projected to be.

Need to bounce back and re-learn how to win...this is a mini losing streak to the #1 team in the country (at the time) and nearly the worst team in the country last night....feel better everyone...even if we have a blow-out weekend, the kids are going to be around for a few years and make some noise in the post season.

Only a 1 game losing streak... we did paste Colgate last weekend. ;)

KP has a confidence problem, or he's just not as good as we thought he would be. The team definitely plays different with him in net too.

Hopefully Shorty can get over last night and shut down the Big Red.
