Another Sioux fan here hoping this guy is an imposter. He's too dumb to even troll. Might be an age factor, though; he has middle school written all over him.

Just checked his posting history. A newbie. He apparently has posted a few times in the UND threads, although I didn't recall him. Looks like he's spent a some time trolling as well.

To the Q fans, from another UND fan, I'd say ignore him. Those of us who really follow hockey understand you guys have a good team.

Couple impact freshman so far in Thomas Aldworth and Chase Priskie. Aldworth with 3 goals and 3 assists in 6 games while Priskie has a goal and 5 assists in 6 games.

Also Michael Garteig is off to a one hell of a start. 6 wins, 2 shutouts, 1.33 GAA but most importantly he has a .947 save percentage.

The success of this team will depend on his success. He needs to step up when the team doesn't like we saw on Saturday.

Why has Quinnipiac been so good to start the year. Commitment to all phases on the game.

6th in team offense in the country with 4.5 goals per game
4th in team defense in the country with 1.33 goals per game
2nd ranked Power Play in the country at 40 percent (10 out of 25)
Tied for first in Penalty Kill in the country at 100 percent (22 out of 22)

Quinnipiac Looks as Strong as Ever

I was able to catch Quinnipiac last Tuesday night against Maine, and was able to watch video of them over the weekend. Needless to say the Bobcats impressed me. While others argued that Quinnipiac may be in trouble with the loss of Matt Peca and Dan Federico, I said I see few weaknesses and an offense that seemingly has more firepower than any year in the past few. I can seriously say now that I think I was right. Quinnipiac is a dangerous team offensively and it proved it again over the weekend.

Quinnipiac filled its few holes with talented players. Freshmen Thomas Aldworth and Chase Priskie impressed me the most. It seems like Rand Pecknold again found gems that fill a need and are able to produce. Aldworth has burst on the scene with three goals and three assists in six games. His presence on both ends of the ice is noticeable, as he seemed comfortable and adjusted to the college game. His ability with the puck, as a freshman is something we don’t see often in the ECAC. Priskie was equally impressive as a freshman, he scored a goal against Maine and didn’t look phased by the transition to the college game.

All things being considered, QU is 6-0-0 on the season and looks as strong as ever. The Rand Pecknold corsi machine still works, albeit a hiccup on Saturday against St. Cloud. The weekend sweep of an NCHC team like the Huskies was a good step in proving that they are pretty good this season. There are holes on the defensive side of the puck, but knowing the Quinnipiac system they will be masked with possession like they always are. Look for Quinnipiac to look this good for the rest of the year

Never said they were a bad team just said they have a weak schedule. I give the Sioux A lot of crap to for tieing Maine like I posted earlier and I never said NCHC always wins against ECAC. Only that when they lose its an upset( which is exactly what it is) and also, yes I am giving QU crap( trolling) I quess I missed the new college hockey rule that forbids fans from doing so.. I'm SUPER SORRY that I have upset the touchy QU fan base. Good luck this year!

Hello Sioux-perDrunk ... I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet, to go over everything. They say time is supposed to heal you, but I ain't done much healing since we both didn't beat Yale in '13.

I suppose you are just in Grand Forks dreaming about how you used to be. When you were younger, freer and still had Parise.

There is such a difference between us and 1,597.8 miles.

Hoping to get ND to Hamden someday!

Had an absolute blast this weekend. Too early to compare this team to that one from a few years back, but it's hard not to think about the similarities. Let's hope there is no AIC loss in the shadows. Great to see the familiar faces this weekend and I'm looking forward to getting back a few more times this year!

Oh the Yale loss still hurts but to take down UND and Minnesota and then go on to win it was pretty sweet. Like I said I'm a college hockey fan I love a good Cinderella story as for dreaming about Parise I don't have to I'm related to him through his wife. FYI - he is probably the coolest guy there is!

Honestly you hit it right on the head!! I tried Mankato but they got me booted after about two comments. At least QU fans fight back. It's boring on here just talkin stats and the same old blah blah blah .. And pickin on Gopher and wisco fans is just mean at this point
