Really pal?? You're obviously interested enough and hearing enough about us in North Dakota to come on and be a hater. No room for that here. But being early in the season ask you asked I guess I'll point out you tied a weak bemidji state( if I even spelled that correctly) tough schedule right.. Who lost to a Minnesota state team who was smoked by Saint Cloud State that just got swept this weekend at Quinnipiac. Evidence is there! You do the math? Great points thought!? Typical..Bring your hate somewhere else your drunk Sioux fan.

I'm a college hockey fan!! Hell ya!! I like a lot of teams but yes UND is my favorite and they did have two really bad ties to Maine and Bemidji( I hate spelling that too) but I'm a fan of a good schedule and you guys don't even come close to a good schedule. I never said you were a bad team but if you play soft teams all year your gonna get caught off guard when ya finally play one of the big boys.. But hey like I said they will still make the playoffs

You're an idiot and a troll. The Bobcats have 7 Hockey East games scheduled this year. They also just dispatched their lone "west" challenger with relative ease, twice. Like the rest of the country you tend to forget that Quinnipiac plays in the ECAC. A conference that is no longer a bottom feeder despite any argument you could try to make. This conference has had three conference members (2 champions) in the NCAA Championship over the last three years. Your "powerhouse" conference hasn't had one team IN since Duluth in 2011. This conference is dominating the early non-conference slate to the tune of a 21-10-3 record, the best non-con record of any conference. To that point, the "EZAC" is 5-1 against your conference brethren in the NCHC. Therefore, Quinnipiac has a battle every night in conference. This strengthens their schedule. To claim that the non-conference schedule is weak, maybe you could have an argument, though it's not one I would like to make with Northeastern, BU and St. Cloud on it. But the ECAC is as good as any conference now and this point is what makes your original post stupid, arrogant and really poorly researched. Take care Sue.

It rare that the best team wins the national championship. but they usually get close( UND making it to eight out of the last eleven final fours) but I am sucker for a Cinderella story! But if you can honestly look at your schedule and think it's a strong one then these no point in trying to point out the obvious to you. HE and NCHC are on top then WCHA after that the rest just are there for some easy wins but they do pull off some upsets and that's exactly what they are when they win UPSETS... But good luck on the year!

The high you must get from banging your sister must really make it hard for incontrovertible numbers to make sense.

Hahahaha love it when this happens!! It's the yeah I know your right but I still have to try something attack. The truth hurts bud but that's life. Hope to see you at regionals it would be an easy draw for UND!
A little early for trash talk don't you think?

You have to play the games on your schedule. There aren't many of the "big boys" that are willing to travel east and, as has been pointed out, the ECAC schedule is not a bunch of cupcakes.

I would love another chance at North Dakota in a true neutral site regional.

You are spot on with this Mark. What each ECAC's teams schedules are like have a ton of variables. Schedules are planned out well in advance and in the case of the ECAC and some of the conferences out West.....the reality is that those teams will seldom if ever schedule us. With conference re-alignments this is now changing. Teams in several conferences now do need more out of conference games and big schools are now more willing to put other out of conference teams on their schedules. For years teams like Michigan (and UND) have been hesitant to make agreements with ECAC teams because of revenue. When you have a big barn, and have a large dollar gate (as compared to some of the smaller ECAC arena's) you don't want to give up those dollars. It's OK or us to go out there (and guarantee that school their big gate)....but, in the past seldom would those teams do a reciprocal schedule (and come to us.)
Word on the street is that SLU will have several Big 10 teams coming to Appleton in the years ahead. It's not that we don't want to play some of those teams.....the more relative question is which of those NCHC and other conferences will put us on their schedules.

UND can't even beat lowly Yale! As per the screen name, i think you have had a little too much hootch. Start crowing when your team and conference earns it and actually wins something important nationally.

You obviously must be the best team every year then since you haven't won a championship in a decade and a half. Even with that tough schedule. Maybe you should go to a weaker schedule and try being a Cinderella. That might work!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-15 - Another journey begins...

Qu has a couple of opponents in common with UND in their "weak" schedule.

QU vs. Maine 1 game.... QU wins
Qu vs, St Cloud 2 games.... QU sweeps

NDU vs. Maine... NDU does not win.... Tie
NDU vs. St. Cloud.... We will see in a few weeks. (Sioux-perDrunks visit here has me hoping for a SCSU sweep)
Fact: QU has a better record against common opponents. So far NDU has met only the weaker of the two common opponents and couldn't beat them.

I would love to see NDU vs. QU game in Hamden some day!!
