GO BOBCATS!!
Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 - Go fourth and conquer!
And now, it's only 4-3. C'mon, Cloud!
4-1 SCSU in the 3rd over the Goofers.

St. Cloud St. beats Minnesota, 4-3.
Is Quinnipiac the new No. 1 team in the country? You'd think they have to be!
If they aren't its a travesty and will prove that Minnesota being number 1 again would be a total reputation pick.
Good luck Monday Q. It would be a big point for them to get a #1 ranking. I would expect them to also carry the #1 into the NCAAs if they keep playing like they must be (I have not seen them). Then win your region and shut up everyone on the board.![]()
You gotta understand -- we realize it means absolutely nothing. But, it's never been done before. It's a very exciting thing to be in line for something that's never before been done for any program at Quinnipiac.
The whining by bloggers is still massively annoying. Sorry.
Stopping in to ask a question about JST and how he's been playing at QU, I haven't seen you guys play this year but you guys are having a great season and hoping for continued success.
JST led BG in scoring the 2 years he was on the team but was probably the most hated player as well, he played with no effort or heart refused to play defense and spent most of the game standing on the Red Line or the opposing blue line beaver tapping his stick against the ice. This led to some healthy scratches and poor team chemistry which in turn led to the transfer. Is he playing any different for QU, he also always seemed a couple steps slow playing in the CCHA, amazing hands but just not quick enough up and down the ice, might be due to poor effort.
Thanks.
He has improved as the season rolls on but has shown some of these tendancies along the way. Not engaging on defense was obvious early but that has improved. His strength has been down low around the net. On the down side he can be selfish with the puck at times.he played with no effort or heart refused to play defense and spent most of the game standing on the Red Line or the opposing blue line beaver tapping his stick against the ice.
His one-handed stick handling is better than many guys using two. That said, there's been too many times when he's tried to do it alone. He's fun to watch when he digs the puck out behind the net and works it out around front. In fact that's how most of his goals have been scored. And he's got a heck of a snipe.amazing hands but just not quick enough up and down the ice
Can't wait for Friday. The Bank will be jumping for the #1 team in the country. See you all there.

I'll be there Saturday night where they could potentially clinch the regular season title.
I have never said it doesn't mean anything. I think it does. It is not a national championship but neither are things like sweeping a rival on the road, having players named all-americans, making the NCAA tournament, etc. Getting a national group of voters that are notorious for east/west bias to name your team #1 in the country is an accomplishment, especially the first time. You gotta understand -- we realize it means absolutely nothing. But, it's never been done before. It's a very exciting thing to be in line for something that's never before been done for any program at Quinnipiac.
You could also potentially clinch the regular season title on Friday night as well correct?
If Yale loses to Brown on Tuesday, then the Bobcats could clinch on Friday with a win (or another Yale loss). If Yale wins on both Tuesday and Friday, then Saturday would be the earliest that Quinnipiac could clinch.
And it's silly. I get that. Put yourself in our shoes -- you'd be the exact same way. Quinnipiac's been D-1 for 15 years -- and they're flirting with getting a No. 1 ranking in the polls. We understand we're being silly, but our silliness is not without merit.
