Gate took the first. QU took the second. In the third it started to get out of hand. The refs had some bearing on that but we started to get outplayed and both sides got a little chippy. Not a good effort by the Bobcats at all.

They have 10 days until the election day game against AIC. My untrained mind can think of several areas to work on... hopefully the coaches have thought of them too. We simply aren't playing up to the level of talent we have on paper.

So Mock, How was the trip to Bahn-stub-bull? I see a crowd of 832 elbowed its way into the facility. At the very least I hope you and your crew got a lob-stah din-nah outta the trip.

A nice weekend here in Denver as my beloved Air Force Falcons beat Nevada 48-31 in football on Friday night and my alma mater--DU--swept Michigan Tech. Good luck to your pal Bob Katz versus AIC. ;)

The trip itself was great. A better result last night would have made it perfect.

Well, it's a little community rink that only seats 1200 so 832 sounds about right from my perspective.

At the very least I hope you and your crew got a lob-stah din-nah outta the trip.

So in review....you drove a long way to the middle of no where.....the rink was an unmitigated dump....nobody showed up at the game...your team lost....the chef charred your dinner beyond all edibility...and you gotta wait a week and a half until the Katz play perennial powerhouse AIC. Yep, sounds like the perfect weekend. Geez, at least I hope you got home in time to catch on endless barrage of political ads on TV.

And you better be giving out some good candy this week or the neighborhood kids will TP your house and smash your jack-o'-lantern.:eek:

I hear ya on the hurricane. I have family living in R.I., Conn., N.Y., and N.J., so I'm the only one in my family not on hurricane watch right now. That storm may put a real damper on trick or treat traffic. Better keep a spare generator handy. ;)

Monster ups to Jack and the crew for landing the women's Frozen Four! Seeley has built a program that has continually gotten better and brought in some top end talent. It's also a great opportunity to show off the Bank on a national stage. Can't wait to get my tix.

As for the men, our ECAC weekend picks are now up on the blog as well as our preview of Tuesday's AIC game...with a pregnant wife who can burst at any second, I figured I might as well get that preview done ahead of time for once.

Game day at the Bank!

The Bobcats welcome the AIC Yellow Jackets tonight and have a huge weekend coming up. Is tonight the night the offense gets uncorked? Let's hope so.

2-1 loss to AIC at home is not a good omen. For the talent the team has, this game should have been a blowout for q at home.

Big Ben Meisner.

Kid is incredible, and is absolutely capable of stealing games. He's already stolen one from Penn State and RIT this year. This is the biggest win I can think of in AIC's history.

He was the primary difference tonight. That, plus the fact that we obviously came out looking past AIC. The 2nd period was some of the most embarrassing Bobcat hockey I've ever witnessed.

I'm not sure what the problem is but we cannot buy a goal. If we don't correct that little problem, we're in for a loooong season. My normally optimistic outlook took a huge hit tonight...
