Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 - Go fourth and conquer!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 - Go fourth and conquer!

So far I have counted 221 people going to the Quinnipiac alumni event at the Harvard game next Friday with tickets still on sale until Wednesday at the discount price.

The one thing that is concerning is that Rand said in the postgame that the team hasn't played well in the last month. I'd love to see them put together a full 60 minute effort this weekend heading into the playoffs. Yale was great and all, but this team needs to strive for more.

They've been this way all season though. Doing just enough and falling short a few times. I think the only two "complete" games I've seen were the north country wins in November. The ties with OSU, UMass, RPI, and Brown (x2) were all examples of not finishing the deal. Neither Yale game were full efforts either but they got it done.

As Rand said, Yale isn't a game, it's an event. I don't think the regular rules apply.

Only time will tell if this style of play will carry them anywhere in the post season, or if they'll rise to the challenge and give a "full" effort. Either way, it's been a helluva run and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Don't get me wrong, I want a national championship as much as anyone, but regradless, I'll sincerely cherish this season as a fan. But it ain't over yet by a long shot! ;)

Nice that QUs stay at number 1 hasn't been a flash in the pan 1 week and done.

Looking forward to the game at Harvard on Friday.

Same here. I'm heading to the Harvard game. Its impressive that they have remained the number 1 team in the country for 3 consecutive weeks for a relatively young program.

Are you going to be there? I'm still on the fence since I'll be travelling somewhere in the post-season. Originally I was planning on both games this weekend thinking they'd mean something to our league standing. Since they've got it wrapped up I need to rethink it.

Don't get me wrong, I want to go... just looking at time and money considering the late March possibilities.

Mark....there will a real good quinnipiac contingent there for alumni.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 - Go fourth and conquer!

Unfortunately I had some serious problems here at home over the weekend as my electrical service in the house bit the dust. Had to replace feed cable from the meter and the breaker panel in the house. In addition a few of the electronic appliances and devices weren't too happy either. So, after spending a small fortune to get it all fixed, it's unlikely that I'll be travelling to Cambridge or Hanover since I'd much rather travel in the post season.

I'm sure all those alumni can support the team as well as I could anyway... ;)

Are you going to be there?.

Yep. The alumni event at Brown was great. Can't miss a game played in the city I'm living.

We're also closely monitoring post season travel. We've talked about Atlantic City, and may try to make it happen, but if Providence is looking locked in, might make that the big event weekend.

Atta boy! ;)

The only trip I probably can't do would be Grand Rapids.

Over 300 people have signed up for the alumni event and game at Harvard.
