Also, more students than ever were rioting in celebration today. Two of the bronze Bobcats were stolen, the ABL Tower has been pushed over, and I heard the North Haven campus is pretty much gone. This school loves its hockey!

FYI Doc Emerick is doing games in Pittsburgh on Wednesday and Sunday. Wondering if the NBCSN would be kindly enough to loan him for Quinnipiac-Yale on Friday night.

One thing I am worried about is our brutal power play which is tied for 44th with Cornell. Only 2 other top 5 teams are lower than 35th with UNH at 35 and Miami at 39.Rand needs to try to get this improved prior to the start of the ECAC playoffs and into the NCAA's. They need to at least get some sort of offense going when they have the man advantage. The PK is still the best in the nation at 91% which is what they can hang their hat on along with Hartzell.

The PP has been abyssmal all year. While it's looked better of late, they're still squandering too many chances with the man advantage. I don't have time to look but our PP % is a bit better in the league than overall but still low. If we ever find a cohesive PP and/or get more scoring from our studs, watch out! Maybe they're saving it all for the playoffs?

Like they say, defense wins championships. Hartzy and the D have definitely kept us in games all season long, and I suspect they will be stout in the post season as well.

I'm campaigning for the Bobcats to put too many men on the ice on the first faceoff of a power play. They're so much better 4-on-4 than with the advantage.

Any going to the Alumni event at Harvard for the game on March 1st? I just signed up to go to the reception and game.

The spirit is picking up. If you do not get tickets, might be fun to watch the NBCSports broadcast. This will be QU's 1st game on NBC Sports.

Hi Q fans, congrats on the great season you have had thus far. One quick question for you. Last Friday I watched the SLU/Q game on the Q's live video feed. It was choppy and very hard to watch. Is that usually the case or were so many people tuning in, that the system was overloaded? Just curious. Thanks.

I was watching (or trying to) watch as well. Usually it's perfect, but the video quality and choppiness was TERRIBLE for me as well. I chalked it off to so many people trying to watch.

The feed sucked for me as well so I just listened to WQUN on my ipad instead.

Thinking of getting a Saturday flex pack for next season which is 6 games for 54 dollars per seat. Probably get 2 seats. Hoping for some good non conference home games. Thinking that we could see Providence and Maine make return trips to the Bank next season along with the potential Ice Breaker kickoff that I have heard about.

ZYanks was telling us about this on Saturday but I don't remember what the problem was (old age setting in). Hopefully he'll chime in here when he sees this. Usually it's not a bad feed at all so it could have been overloaded.
