Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

Who are you referring to? Warsofsky's a potential All-American and Gaudet and Glass have been the 3rd and 4th line LWs all year.

I was referring to gaudet, he is playing and happy to see it. Nice to see a CC kid straight from hs getting a chance. I am well aware of DW. Glass was a high end kid out of Nobles, didnt see much last year in the way of ice but is a scholorship kid,. Remember noticing him hugging parker after championship game on ice with suit on. Gaudet was a recruited walk on. Went to ND game and the MC game and didnt notice Gaudet, did see Glass.

Three mass kids, all playing.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

All that braying you just did is a sad attempt at back peddling.

I laughed my butt off about you claiming to know more about hockey then anyone because so far you haven't proven that you know ANYTHING about hockey to date!!!

Since you began trolling here, you babble that PC fans should be happy because they had the worst season in their history last year but all is great because they have already hit 7 wins so far. (Four of the wins came by beating cupcakes and they followed their best win by getting housed at Dartmouth!!!)

We've been cutting and posting using your own words and you STILL don't see it. You are a cheerleader but that's about it. You have yet to demonstrate ANY hockey knowledge.

You make dumb points, back peddle or change your posts when you get called on it. Pathetic.
I've also enjoyed reading your suck up posts to the guys and yet when they throw your dumb posts back in your face, you back peddle further.

As far as being negative. The negativity has been aimed at only three people, a coach how has been just a bit better than horrible since he's arrived, the AD that hired him and usually ignores the hockey program in favor of the hoop program and a troll (you).

Now get back to saying more funny things to make us laugh....

I said I have forgotten more about hockey then you.. Which is not saying much. Your personal attacks on the coach, the AD and dumping on his kid are a testament to you as a person. way over the line and it is safe to say, 100% innapropriate, and would not be said to their faces. get a life and get lost

Go back to chatting with SM about his commute, I am sure he will be looking for you at the next game. maybe the two of you can go to Govenors in Orono for a cookie monster.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

Or PC91 can go to Pat's pizza which is an institution in Orono.

This conversation is going in crazy crazy circles.

Now we add BU fans to giant PC/MC/UML/UMASS/RPI/MTU/UNH web of insanity that is the PC Season Thread.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

I was referring to gaudet, he is playing and happy to see it.

Gaudet's played in every game since missing the first three with a dislocated shoulder, and he's one of BU's top penalty killers. I would tell you to try getting a clue before posting random nonsense that is in no way even remotely factual, but I realize that's a lost cause at this point.

Your right stooge, you have forgotten more about hockey then me!!!!! :p

You realize that you tooled on yourself again Hokydud?

I keep setting them up and you keep knocking them down. A mind is a terrible thing to waste there Hokydope.

I've already spoken to his Tim's face on two occasions and sadly he had little to say.

Incidently, I've called you out and you've turtled over and over again. Unlike you, I'd relish the chance to have a face to face with you. What do you say?
You know that you won't because there would be no computer to hide behind. Right internet tough guy?

IT's inappropriate on a hockey thread (PC's no less) to say that a PC recruit doesn't deserve to play on a particular team because they are not as talented as others? Get a life you clown. This is the most appropriate place to air that you dope. Sorry but people are allowed to have differing opinions than you. You don't like it then don't troll here.

Bray on my donkey. You are a one trick donkey and the act is old.

***BTW Thanks for sharing your pedophile tricks but Coach Moore and I are not like you. Save those "cookie monster" tricks for luring your Lynn Mite 3s to the back of your "Hoky" van.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

Not to break up the discussion on MA players in BU, but Connelly agrees with me - and everyone else including Hokydad - about this probably being a split.

Will Tim stick with Beaudry or work Gates in one of these nights?

So he was a practice player last year, a walk on. My bad. I am happy for him as he is a hard working good kid. He did not play in the games I watched. Glad he is now.

In fairness, there is a reason why BU cant score a goal and is moving D to play F. So 99% of the comment, i.e. 3 mass kids is correct, zero practice players, all full timers.
Is that factual enough for you. I know it is not even remotely factual

This is factual.

BU has 3 kids from Massachusetts. One being a practice player.

This is not.

Neither is this. BU has scored 20 goals in its last 5 games and Warsofsky only played 2 games at F, and that had more to do with injuries up front than anything else. Try keeping up.

Parker said the move was in part do to lack of production up front. Thats what i heard and was told, could be 100% wrong.. Wont be the last time I was and am.

As you're so fond of saying....clip and post please. ;)

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

I have a feeling that if Beaudry wins tonight, we see Gates on Saturday. If they lose, Beaudry starts both nights. For whatever reason, the team plays much better when Alex is in net.

OK.... I think it is safe to say parker did this to kick start the F's. To say otherwise is foolish and as the great one would say, not factual. Parker's comments are though factual...

Disappointed with the production he had received out of his top line, Boston University men’s hockey coach Jack Parker stacked the primary unit with three of his club’s most dynamic players for Saturday night’s affair with the University of New Hampshire. Freshman forward Alex Chiasson and his team-leading four goals were added to Friday night’s pairing of junior center Nick Bonino and sophomore forward-defenseman David Warsofsky on BU’s starting line, a combination that was intended to kick offensive lulls and reinvigorate the attack with each new shift

I thought Bonino came out of it a little bit tonight. He got his legs back a little bit tonight, made some plays,” Parker said.

But as the game progressed, Warsofsky was needed elsewhere, and the goal proved to be that unit’s only of the evening.

Thus, Parker employed a different formula to try and ensure the most beneficial spread.

“We just rotated four lines with three left wings, so sometimes it was [sophomore Ross] Gaudet, sometimes it was [senior] Zach Cohen, sometimes it was [sophomore Andrew] Glass,” Parker said. “It was one of those three. Those three played, and the rest of the other four lines played for the most part until the very end.

“So, it was four lines with three left wings. Mostly every time a line went out, a center went out, he had a different left wing, but it kept those guys in the game.”

The go-to explanation for this team has been that the talent is there –*– they just haven’t managed to put it all together, yet.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

The next two weekends, to me, are a massively critical juncture for this team. Two in Orono against a Maine team that's playing, well, probably a bit better than some anticipated, then BC and UNH at home. Everyone in HE seems to be beating up on one another to some degree, which is why the Friars need to get some points here.

They cannot afford to dig themselves into a hole in the conference again, that's for sure, which is what will happen if they don't get it together here over the next weekends.

Bray on folls!

This BU talk on the PC thread is awesome!!!
I know that Hokydad is not welcome back on the BU thread but maybe hockeydope can at least take this back to his home thread and impress his fellow Merrimack fans.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

He must think BUObserver is reading this thread.

It's not even that it's a rival school- it's that this is basically the arch nemisis of the program from 1978 onwards...

Good stuff, good stuff...

What are you talking about? You're a dope. Don't you know that PC has 7 wins this year. They only had 7 wins all of last season. There are no holes to be dug this year. The season is a success now no matter how they do the rest of the way. :p
Thank God an illiterate from another fan base showed me the way.

Where's BU's glass at? is it lower than PC's because the Friars have over achieved? Or higher coming off a national title year? I need to know!
