PrimeLink Shootout

Re: PrimeLink Shootout

I know Stevens Point is headed East for the Pathfinder Tournament next year. Haven't heard anything on the other two participants but my guess would be a Neumann/Curry/Wentworth/Salem State/UMass-Dartmouth type of team for the other two participants.

Re: PrimeLink Shootout

See how much you DON'T know....

Ask Mike, Bob, Bill, or Trent...about the amount of critisism I took for contacting Forgarty and then forwarding his emails to them....yet in those emails Ron hoped for someone to contact him, of which no one still has as of the start of this season....I know that the two Vermont teams wanted nothing to do with Adrian...I never said anything about a consperiacy or them being afarid..facts are they were contacted and didn't want Adrian..and now we are stuck with a repeat Primelink team...you have to laugh when you know there is another team out there who would bring a lot of attention in the D-III world, would pay for everything, but we don't invite them we take a repeat mid tier team....

Apparently you are not privy to everything Adrian, are you?
Your statements look pretty dammmmnably foolish now, don't they?

Re: PrimeLink Shootout

Jut hear say, perhaps Manhattanville and Babson:)

Hopefully Manhattanville is Adrian's whooping boy for the first round but I'd guess Norwich wouldnt want Babson in the first round or the western team since the game wouldnt count.

So Norwich//Manhattanville and Babson/Adrian. Pretty solid tournament there. Kudos to Norwich for stepping up and playing Adrian...one year after Oswego;) (jk)

Re: PrimeLink Shootout

word is that Adrian is coming to play in th Times Argus next year

One thing I will say about Norwich is they are willing to take on all teams. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Norwich has reloaded its roster with top end talent to compete with Adrian.

Re: PrimeLink Shootout

Nope I don't jerry one bit....facts are facts..I will give props to Norwich (if its true) but I still don't like the fact that noses were turned up at coach Fogarty when he asked to come, but now we get a returning primelink team....

Re: PrimeLink Shootout

Sort of on the topic...

What if there were an 8 team tournament over one of the holiday weekends...what would your dream 8 teams be?

It would have to be four west and four east. I've always dreamed of this tournament happening every year in like Erie PA or somewhere in Ohio.

I guess if I was picking I would want:

East- Oswego, Elmira, Middlebury, Norwich

West- Adrian, St. Norbert, Stevens Point , River Falls

The only reason why I exclude Plattsburgh is because Oswego already faces them 2-3 times a year and Elmira plays them once every year too (for now)

You know, a LOT of coaches asked to come to the Primelink. I suppose in your mind the 3 anchor teams are scared to play any of them.

Yeah, probably delayed it by a year.

YOU are the one that keeps saying they were/are scared not myself, so please stop putting words into my post...

if SO many teams asked to come play, why was it down to St.Johns and St.Thomas again for next year??

All I'm saying is the facts, Adrian wanted to play in the tourney and contacted the three coaches/Primelink committee PRIOR to STOUT being named even in this years tourney (before they had their meeting)...and the noses were turned up....

I could care less if my contact had anything to do with Adrian being added to the Times Argus (again if its even true), I thought the Primelink would be a great place for Adrian to showcase their talent, which probably would have been heads over heals better then what Stout showed.

Why stevens point? need a cupcake in there? :P

I'm more of a fan of a D3 version of the big10/acc challenge. NCHA/SUNYAC challenge. Each team rotates through playing a series against each team in the other conference alternating home/away every year. Maybe NCHA/NESCAC would be better since other than the top 2 the Sunyac sucks :D

Well until this year I would have said NCHA vs ECAC West would have made the most since but oh man has it gotten ugly in ECAC West land this year...

Win the National Championship by the most unlikely team out of the big powers of the conference and then the conference proceeds to tank it the next season.

For many years the knock on the ECAC West was they never won the big one...Now they have a team do it and they tank worse than the Thunderchickens in the second half of the season.:D

Because they do not want one of the many eastern teams that wanted to play.
And in case you didn;t notice, St. John's has come east every two or three years for almost decade.

No kidding, so lets go with another western team that we've already seen instead of a new western team?

Who cares if they've come east every two or three years...what does that have to do with ANYTHING??? we might as well just rotate SJU, St.Thomas, and Stout now then...??

Once again..SOOOO many teams why are we getting a repeat? Thanks for playing...
