As for Gaudreau/NU, sounds like your problem is with Gaudreau himself. HE opened up his recruitment because of the coaching change (which I would never fault any player for doing). So were all other colleges supposed to stay away from him? Ya, that's it, blacklist him from all of college hockey and make him play for a coach/team he doesn't want to play for. It happens all the time in college sports.

Well, I just clarified my statement. i admit, I chose poor wording in my initial post. I think my premises are clear though. The net loss in talent this year, especially defensively, combined with a regression in net will be too much to overcome IMO (remember, it's one person's opinion) this year.

As for the situation at Northeastern, I guess we can agree to disagree.

Considering how Havasu shoreline is either state or Indian owned, and not for sale to the public, you must be a real kingpin. Or maybe your uncle rents a trailer in Havasu city, which could happen.

No. Minnesota's defense will be more like BC's defense last year, and BC's will be more like Minnesota's last year.

Both will see regressions in net, but Minnesota goaltender will have a better defense in front of him, and a stronger offense that will control the puck more.

Woah, I got a jealousy boner until I saw you had a Azimut-Benetti yacht, as I highly refined individual, I wouldn't be caught dead on one of those paddle boats. Surely you must know Blohm + Voss is the best vessel to ride while enjoying peach schnapps.

You do realize that no program in the past decade has done less with more than the gophers? Christ, even BU has won a title. Given that, you're going so far as to bet a bottle of peach schnapps against the team in the midst of the most dominant run in recent memory?

What the Gophers have done in the last 10 years is completely irrelevant to next season. Though I wouldn't count a championship (2003) and three Frozen Fours (2003, 2005, 2012) in the last decade (you realize that's 10 years, right?) something to be ashamed about. Push that out to the last 11 years and it's two championships.

You must have been thinking of UND :)

EDIT: And I don't take wagers involving Schnapps lightly. I'm pretty confident in my assessment ;)

No, I stopped by to discuss our upcoming matchup and you guys hilariously and stubbornly insisted BC never traps and then got all bent out of shape when I started poking holes in your fragile arguments.

Don't worry, I won't be back. I get no joy in discussing hockey with people who can't grasp even the most fundamental topics ;)

I liken your site to the Chinese state-run television. Can't let the truth get out to the fragile egos of the BC fanbase. God forbid they learn that BC, like every other program in the country, uses the neutral zone trap on occasion. Gotta placate the legions of bandwagoners :o

Putz, please don't lump everyone together. And I'm pretty sure the argument was more along the lines of whether or not BC was a trapping team, not about whether or not BC has EVER played a neutral zone trap.

I wasn't lumpring everyone together. I was just refering to everyone involved in said discussion. And yes, they were insisting that BC never trapped last season, and got quite defensive when I proved they were wrong.
