Let me clarify a few things people, because I sense people have gotten a little worked up about my prediction that BC won't make the tourney.

1. Not knocking BC as a program. I just think they'll have a down year this year. I've explained why I think this.

2. It's an opinion. Time will prove whether I am right or wrong.

3. You're entitled to disagree if you'd like.

4. Some people are going to owe me some high-end Schnapps.

I kind of hope Dubbs is right. Maybe he'll drink all the Schnapps he gets in celebration and he'll end up in an alcohol induced coma for 30 years.

JDUMBS revelations over the past few days have indicated that he is most likely a 12 year old kid.

For those of you betting with JDUMBS, be prepared to wait a long time to get that schnapps...not because BC will miss the tourney (they will almost assuredly make it), but because it's going to take JDUMBS a loooooong time to save up that much in allowance money to have his mom (Mrs. Dumbs) buy the bottle. He'll be doing extra chores for months...:p:D:D

I've offered my opinions on who will be favored heading into this season. Opinions in which I am entitled to as much as you are entitled to offer your numerical rankings that you so much enjoy. And I have backed up my opinions with my reasoning behind them when asked.

And I have done this without attacking anyone personally.

You, on the otherhand, haven't offered your own preseason rankings in this thread, but have spent your time either mocking my opinions or blatantly attacking me personally. You cried when I mocked your formula rankings in your threads, but you feel justified in mocking mine? Not only that, but then attacking me personally. That is adult-like?

Point was (try to follow), you criticized me for criticizing your formula rankings in those threads. And yet you are mocking not only my rankings in my thread, but me personally.

See the hypocrisy of this? See the hypocrisy of calling someone childish, then acting childish yourself (and your personal attacks have been)?

You don't like my rankings? Ignore them. Stay out of the thread. I think your formula rankings are asinine beyond words, but I've steered clear of your threads for months.

BTW, What does everyone think of my rankings? I debated between BC and Western for a long time before giving BC the nod. That could very well be a title game this season.

I think you've done it in pretty much every single thread of mine, so I have come to expect it. Now that I figure you're a 12 year old kid, I'll factor that into how I consider your posts. :p:D:D

I think you've got Michigan a bit low. Notre Dame is too high as well, IMO.

You've got my boys too high, too. We're in full rebuild mode, with what we've lost on the blueline and in goal the past two years.

You don't understand that nobody cares what you think. They maybe did...a long time ago when you didn't try to troll every thread on this site. You bash on FS23 for his formulas, but at least they make sense. He isn't just spewing opinions with no facts to back them up. You constantly try to prove to people that the Gophers are the "greatest program of all time". I think everyone here has seen this ploy before. It's the same concept as when a guy with a tiny d**k buys a huge truck. He tries to overcompensate for the insecurities he has. You realize the Gophers have been down and out for quite a few years now, and try to puff out your chest in an attempt to overcompensate for said mediocrity. Do you notice that FS23 didn't put UND at number 1? Or that he doesn't sit here every and try to justify that they're the greatest team in college hockey history every five posts? (which he could arguably have a point...7>5) Giving an opinion in a message board is perfectly fine, but after everyone here has heard you repeat the same opinions OVER and OVER again, people just don't want to hear it anymore.

My purpose in life isn't to post what you like. *I have my opinions, and you have yours. *Posting opinions you (and even others) disagree with isn't trolling.

God forbid anyone disagrees with you, or offers an unpopular opinion, in your personal life. *I'd hate to think of how you'd react.

You don't like my opinions? *Disagree, offer your own, or simply ignore them. *All options available to you. *But personally attacking me out of one side of your mouth while trying to say you're taking the high road out of the other is (I'll put it nicely) unfortunate.

I'd contest that I'm the most honest and mature person posting in this thread :)

And I must add, I think Minnesota is the clear favorite this year. I think they are going to be as dominant this year as BC was last year. I don't think BC will be good enough to make the tournament this year. I outlined 5 teams I think have the best shot to win the title, in the order of who I think have the best odds.

Now, what would you suggest I do? Lie about what I think of my teams chances or another team's chances so as not to hurt feelings?

It's an opinion. If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. What fun would this board be if we all tip-toed around our opinions for fear of hurting feelings.

Want me to explain why I feel a certain way on a certain point I made? Ask. I'll clarify my point or explain how I arrived at that opinion. However, I will not dance around my thoughts on a subject. That's not me. That isn't how I got where I am, and I won't change.

And in case you haven't figured it out, I don't share your respect for FS23. I'll leave it at that as I'm not big on hurling personal attacks to prove a point. Nor do I usually need to.
