Pre-Season Predictions

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

Because of this I could read his post. So his wife is out of town and to celebrate he and his imaginary friends break out wine coolers, go to a lame bar (Agua? Really?) and imaginary girls are coming over for fuzzy navels?

You forgot to add that Mrs. Dubbs bought a one way ticket.

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

My prediction is that Denver and UND decide the NCHC was a horrible idea, and Barry Alvarez is visited by the ghost of St. Patty's past and decides the Final Five is too much fun and the WCHA lives happily ever after!

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

The Bowling Green State University Falcons are going to surprise a lot of people this year in the CCHA and college hockey. The team has a core group of young talented players that have great chemistry. Coach Chris Bergeron and his staff has done a good job recruiting and rebuilding the program. Fans of Falcon hockey are excited for this year to begin!

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

UMass-Lowell & Western Michigan will be stronger this year after both surprised alot of people last season...look for one of these two to make it to Pittsburgh/2013 Frozen 4.

Agreed 100% on the Broncos. I think Western Michigan will win the CCHA this year. They are loaded and now have the experience necessary to take that next step. I'm not as sold on Lowell, but they should be a solid team that could make another run.

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

Obviously Minnesota was gonna be his #1, but a definitive statement of BC not making the tourney? I think that's the definition of butt hurt.

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

What we have here is classic Midwestern bias. Stud muffins notwithstanding.

UAA will struggle due to the number of players leaving the program. I don't see them finishing higher than 11th in the WCHA.

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

So, I was riding home on my banana bike last night - the one with the pink tassels on the handlebars and Herbie playing cards in the spokes - drinking an apple martini and listening to my favorite Bieber album, and it got me thinking. So I stopped and sat down on the curb for a minute and started wondering which teams have the best chance to win it all this year. Besides Minnesota. I mean, of course. When I got back to my mother's basement this is what I wrote down:

Sorry. My crayon scribblings don't translate well to the computer.
translated.

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

I apologize for my delayed response. Some friends and I are going to be hitting up Aqua tonight as Mrs Dubbs is out of town and the wine coolers are already flowing. Who knew you could make Olympic Table Tennis into a drinking game!

As for your question, I am as disappointed in your choice of adult beverages as I am in your choice of hockey team.

Gotta run. We have some ladies coming over and I think the fuzzy navels will soon be flowing :D
Don't give them too many, they'll have to get to their next appointment when the hour is up.

Honestly, I think this has a better chance of happening then BC not making the tournament...

Re: Pre-Season Predictions

Not sure about the rest of you, but my weekend was fabulous. After pre partying at my estate, my driver took us downtown to do some dancing. The club was bumping.

Before we went in, my buddy made us all finish off a bottle of Apple Pucker, which is my favorite.

I would have responded to some of your posts when I got home, but an 80's dance party broke out post-bar at my buddies place, then we all settled down to watch the Team USA kill it in men's gymnastics. John Orozco is fantasic! Besides, there were ladies who needed attention ;)

Anyways, I will try and respond to some of your posts as my schedule permits today.
