POTUS 45.61: All Are Welcome to Watch This Circus

Re: POTUS 45.61: All Are Welcome to Watch This Circus

Stephen Miller had a bad day.

No media coverage and it should be headline number one.

Trump denied in writing and under oath to Mueller any recollection of ever discussing WikiLeaks with Stone or being aware of Stone discussing WikiLeaks with the campaign.

Gates testified he was in the car with Trump when he Trump talked to Stone about it. https://t.co/BEUPfCtyk2
— Bradley P. Further evidence (not necessarily on this exact tidbit) that the Mueller investigation was a sham and they cut corners to get it over with. They should have had Trump dead to rights already but Mueller was either too much a ***** or simply too worn out to put a full court press on.

Re: POTUS 45.61: All Are Welcome to Watch This Circus

I’m sure testimony under oath isn’t a Manila envelope eh

The worse part are his followers who will primary any GOP that oppose him. Sad that people need to be that terrible and mean to other human beings- just for their "power" (which hardly any of his supporters are actually getting)

Need I have to mention again, we would be knowing nothing about any of this had the 2018 midterms turned out differently.

His supporters don't want power. They just want an excuse to hate people with darker skin than them.

This will eventually be a very good thing because it creates an impossible vicious circle for the fascists. They never allow the rubes to recognize how isolated and insane they are, so any GOPer who actually smartens up and tries to pull out of the dive will get primaried thus giving us an even more insane conservaturd to challenge in the general. Political parties have a natural aversion to going extinct: they broaden and react to the electorate -- the whole "representation" idea of being a representative. But the GOP has neutered their ability to adapt by putting all their fanatical followers into a killing jar where no matter what is happening factually they are still fed the Kool Aid every day as if nothing is happening. So: the party gets even crazier --> the moderates are purged --> the party loses more seats --> the party gets even crazier...

The Republican party may actually drive itself into extinction, something which, given their natural advantage of having billionaires and corporations support them, should be theoretically impossible. We're watching a morbidly obese man eat himself to death.

Guy I saw on Chris Hayes last night made that very point. Cornell something or other. Side effect of their ever more extreme gerrymandering. The more nutcase and further fascist they have to be to win the GOP primaries, the more unpalatable they are in the general.

No.

The source for that number is the same as the one that says Ivanka created 14 million jobs.

Re: POTUS 45.61: All Are Welcome to Watch This Circus

No single person has ever created 14 million jobs. And certainly not in 2.5 years.

Re: POTUS 45.61: All Are Welcome to Watch This Circus

And his supporters still don't care...

JUST IN: Lev Parnas, an indicted associate of Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, said he discussed Ukraine with the president at a private dinner for super PAC donors in Washington.

Re: POTUS 45.61: All Are Welcome to Watch This Circus

Nor does lying under oath constitute a high crime or misdemeanor.

It does if Congress decides it does. There is no definition. Impeachment is a political process; the Founders explicitly designed it to be. Congress can impeach a president for wearing the wrong tie. And if they have the votes they can vote for conviction and removal.

Correct. Mueller was, is, worthless. He didn't do his job. He failed.

Re: POTUS 45.61: All Are Welcome to Watch This Circus

Fitting that Trump is meeting with the dictator at the White House who killed the Kurds (our allies) after we abandoned them while the impeachment hearings are going on.

Why is he still in office? There was more than enough in the failed Mueller Report to send a Democrat packing. Yet, here he is, still in office.
