To quote the great Sir-Mix-A-Lot: “My anaconda* don’t want none unless you got buns hun.” Tomi ain’t got one. Pass.

I also just said she's not really my type in any way (including her persona on all fronts) but I'm not talking about having a deep conversation or long lasting relationship.

What happens when people elect other people "just like me" to be president.

And his response to a question on busing was: "It has been something that they've done for a long period of time. There aren't that many ways of getting people to schools."

He still thinks they're literally invisible: It has been something that they've done for a long period of time. There aren't that many ways of getting people to schools.

There's been a rash of that, that if a political cartoon is deemed "too offensive for readers" they are let go. KFAN (sports station in Mpls) talked about this a bit ago. Doesn't matter your opinion, it the general "too offensive for the readers." It sucks. The newspapers would rather fire someone than deal with the fallout.

I don't agree with the firing, but I understand it. Personally, my thoughts are if they weren't comfortable with the cartoon, don't publish it. But as much as I agree with it, I get why it would lead to harsher fallout. That was a very raw photo. It will probably win the Pulitzer, but the average American does not want to be reminded of that connection to the president who they elected. And newspapers are corporate entities so how to the average American these days.

I'd comment more, but I'd be accused of "both sides-ism" even though that is the truth. ;) Dealing with fallout is not as favorable as a clean break from cartoonist/etc.

Edit: I don't agree with the firing either, and I agree with you in the opinion "Then why publish it in the first place?"

A historic week: first US President to assault a woman in a department store changing room and visit North Korea.

so what?
as discussed numerous times already, people freely use political titles for their own use and definitions. if you do it enough, it catches on en mass. maybe tD starts something here :)

Would these be the same American people saying "tough chit" to people complaining about depictions of Mohammed in the European media?
