Earlier Thursday, Trump said deportations are "a military operation" — but John Kelly says there will be "no use of military forces."

Is there anything Trump ever says that doesn't have to be corrected by somebody? I don't think there is anything.

If (OK, I'm being polite with that "if") that is the root cause to this, I can save a whole bunch of money in just a few words: Eagle Ford; Bakken.

OK, I think this latest outrage of the day is grasping at straws just a little. No one of sound mind denies that Trump lies constantly, but in this case, I think he's obviously making a comparison. Trump probably views this whole operation as equivalent to throwing out an invading force, so being the simpleton he is, the military comparison is all he's got. The problem is that he's incapable of nuance and is terrible with words, so he can't properly articulate it.

Oh, and the other problem is that he's also our SCROTUS and has the launch codes. But it's the little things (like Trump's hands!) that count.

While I agree...the fact is he is saying this while others are out there (often right before or right after him) saying the exact opposite. There is no strength of message because no one has a clue what the numbnuts is going to say when he vomits out his verbal diarrhea.

Look at the Flynn debacle...what he said differs from what Kellyanne said, which differs from what Paul Ryan said...and all of it differs from the fact that Trump knew anyways weeks before and let it happen.

It isnt just that he lies, it is that his lies retroactively make his defenders lie too and they dont even know it!

Exactly, but give Trump some credit here. He's set this up politically so he doesn't take any flak. If they don't come up with anything, he's going to simply and loudly state that he assumed after 6 years of opposition the GOP Congress had a plan, and if they don't that's on them. Works like a charm. This whole repeal thing was always iffy because of the Medicaid repeal and the coverage for pre-existing conditions. Even Joe Manchin can vote against that and still be lined up with the wishes of his constituents, while Susan Collins and a few others are put in a real sh !tty position.

On a humorous note, wapo had quotes from some of the mouth breathers at the conference. Several quoted say they don't believe trump has spent over 10M in one month on travel- Obama is still worse, and they just can't trust any media to be accurate.
There's no coming back for these people. He could rape a child and they'd blame the child. And then Obama

Grasping at straws? No, not really. See, what the President says is NEWS. Always has been. After (4) years of Trump that is going to change. I'd bet money on it. The next President is going to have a hard time cause after this clown is done no one is going to believe him/her/it.

I don't know if it's an outrage, but it's a big deal because the courts don't(or at least shouldn't) grade on the same 'old white guy' curve that gets most of the dumb **** he says excused.

Spicer's attempted explanation of Trump's use of military could've been straight out of McCarthy on SNL.

And if someone could logically explain why trans students should not be protected equally across the country, that'd be great.

Trump administration asks FBI to discredit the media stories about Trump's Russian connections. FBI tells them to go pound sand, even though they have privately told the WH that they feel the reports are exaggerated.

The direct communications between the White House and the FBI were unusual because of decade-old restrictions on such contacts. Such a request from the White House is a violation of procedures that limit communications with the FBI on pending investigations.

How are they not being "protected" if not allowed to "cross over" to another restroom designation? I'll be honest I couldn't care less about this issue and even though I believe a law that would allow a s/he to use an alt room causes no harm, I also don't feel that bad for someone that is not allowed said access. I think this is one of those cases where it's not discrimination and not something anyone should worry about. If no one should be afraid of someone using the other bathroom, those wanting to use the other should similarly not be afraid to use the one they're traditionally assigned.

Wow. That's a big deal. And eerily similar to Watergate. Attempt to solicit conspiracy to mislead, at the very least.

No doubt our eagle-eyed Congress will get right on that.
