So Russia might turn Snowden over to Trump as a gift...nah that isnt dubious at ALL!
If we're being technical, she's suing because she claims she was planning on using her position as first lady to sell $150 million worth of fragrances, and the newspaper hurt that business.
And pretty much every time, it's pointed out that profiting directly from the position is not legal..
like bubba's speaking fees? or what bho has lined up next? or 41 joining the nwo investment group?
If a firm wins a contract to build a wall along the Mexico-U.S. border, for example, it could risk financial repercussions in Illinois and New York. Each has legislative proposals to divest pension funds from companies that help construct a border wall.
Illinois, New Mexico, and California are among Democratic-majority states attempting to pass laws requiring future presidential candidates to reveal their federal income tax records — dating back five years — if they want to appear on that state’s ballot.

I love this. The States are fighting back. It's perfectly within their rights to conduct elections within their borders the way they want.
The financial penalties to companies that align themselves with trump might actually work. New York, California, and Illinois have fairly large pensions that could do some serious damage if they pull out of a company.
States rights! Republicans love those almost as much as their guns. Would be hilarious to watch states rights dismantle their dumbass ideas

Where does a slippery slope stop? It seems proper that a citizen reveal his/her tax returns. But why stop there? Browsing history? Video rental? Subscription?
If you want to vet a candidate, why stop at just a tax return?

A POTUS SHOULD reveal tax records/business holdings to prevent ANY conflict of interest.
Bingo. Brent is 92% correct. Business ownership by government individuals is one of those things that is a clear conflict of interest and provides one of the biggest motivators and indicators of corruption.
I would change 'should' to 'must'.
Agreed.
Ask for some reason I can't post anymore in the congress thread. ****** chaffetz is blaming his town hall on paid protesters. So even if their own constituents get mad, they call it fake, paid protesters.
As sic says, they won't stop unless people show up to vote them out
