Isn't the argument that it might be legal beside the point though? People debate all the time about right vs. wrong and I think everyone here agrees if it's legal he has the right to do it, but is that really the crux of all of this?

What Brent is saying, is that if the President does it and it's legal, then you need to go through the proper legal channels if you don't like it and want to end it.

You're just being deliberately antagonistic by trying to paint him into a quasi-Trump supporting corner.

JFC, you'd think it was the Salem Witch Trials in these threads lately. Save that for Flag. ;)

How do I feel? Exactly the same as I did when I voted. The entire presidential candidate field consisted of CLOWNS that were undeserving of my support.

I must say, it does get fun on social media when you're called a liberal troll and a stupid republican in the same day when you post about the same thing. Welcome to polarization. It hasn't been this bad since the 1850's.

Right, but why does this legal pedanticism just suddenly crop up now? It's kind of just stating the obvious and nobody is really arguing about legality.

So let me get this straight...

Obama signs legislation that was prepared by congress and submitted as an omnibus bill; the bill actually took away the waiver program and wasn't an outright ban on travel or visas..?

That's the same thing as an outright ban on travel and immigration from these countries?

So apparently, #DeleteUber is now a thing on Twatter for two reasons:

1. Apparently, their CEO sits on Trump's council of business advisers
2. Their drivers are still picking people up at airports, while a lot of taxi drivers are striking to protest Trump's immigration EO

Did what? You're not saying that what Congress passed in 2015 (and was updated by Obama last year) is the same as what Trump did last week are you? Or are you saying a two is no different from a ten when you need to justify the ten?

I think it also has to do with the wishywashy response to the law uber has taken compared to other tech titans.
