POTUS 45.08: Suckers

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

They don't care that he lies. They're just relieved that Hillary didn't win!

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

He's tall, speaks in simple sentences, and uses blustering rhetoric. The ape brain responds to that.

My favorite is that he congratulated a solider for earning a Purple Heart this weekend. He also called it 'tremendous.' Seriously.

#MURICA!

Thank Dino-Riding Jesus we didn't get that *****! She's a liar and a crook!
She is, but that is a separate fact from Trump being the........criminal/salesman (being VERY polite) that he is. This past election, moreso than in years past, has been: slit the throat, or seppuku?

It actually hasn't. At least I can admit I was wrong and was an idiot. We could have had a statesman in John Kerry. We avoided Caribou Barbie and her maverick boyfriend. We avoided Bain and reelected one of the most respected and thoughtful presidents in my lifetime. But we still managed to elect a man that destabilized the Middle East because daddy didn't finish the job. We could have had a president that would have positioned us as a true world leader in clean energy.

You might not have liked the Dems, but they were all objectively better presidents and would-be presidents.

Obama, while I disagreed with him much of the time, was a statesman. Total respect. W2 did some good things, but went a bit overboard on the "security" detail (in-house stuff). Kerry is worthless. Palin is worthless. And your last statement is rather biased, since your history won't give any Repubs (or at least mod conservatives) the time of day.

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

I voted for the team of Mavericks. It's one of my biggest regrets. Kerry was not worthless. He was one of the best Secretaries of State we've had in generations.

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

Also, none of those mentioned were moderates. That's absurd. I give plenty of moderates the credit they deserve. The problem is, there aren't any moderate republicans anymore.

There aren't any moderates anymore, period, IMO. It's really sad. It's this, or it's that. No in-between. That gap started years ago, and has gotten worse EVERY year. Horrible.

Re: POTUS 45.08: Suckers

You confuse being a moderate with being right or good. Being a moderate isn't a noble quality when the moral and right thing to do is partisan.

This post is so many ways of hypocritical. Wow. You confuse being liberal with "say or believe what you want.....unless I don't agree with it. But free speech and all." I'm a mod con.

Gee, and how did that happen? The Dems caved on Obamacare by eliminating the public option, and the public rewarded the GOP. The GOP went full tea party, and the public rewarded them with even bigger majorities.

The lesson there is it pays to not moderate.

There's that false equivalency we all know and love.

Obama wasn't a friggin' moderate? Hillary and her Wall Street and Third Way ties?

That's the problem with you wingers, the pendulum on your side has swung so far to the right that you think John Kasich is a moderate.

So much this. The D's ran a moderate and a progressive and the moderate was nominated. Obama wasn't able to get anything done not because of his extremism, but because of the oppositions. If there were moderate Rs remaining that would actually work with moderate Ds this wouldn't be a problem. The fact that with total control now the Rs can't even accomplish anything since nothing is extreme enough should be telling, but somehow it isn't.

I was mainly referring to voters. And the underlined strengthens my view on it.

Yeah, and it's all of them. They have no moderates left running or voting for them, so now John Kasich is a moderate. I thought that had long well been established around here for a long time as fact but somehow we always have to circle back around and reaffirm the definition of moderate. Silly, but that's the world we live in today.

It's a Red Nationalistic planet and we all may just have to get used to it. The President is pulling some good numbers from somewhere. Or, the media is bending over backwards to be fair and moderate. It's getting sad on MSNBC in the morning cause they're spending an inordinate amount of time hammering Democrats on not accepting pro-life candidates into their party. It appears that that one issue has defined the power structure and given the Republicans full reign over everything. Yet, then they come back with the white working class argument. They're hurting. Well, one party tried to do something for them (The Turtle ran the perfect gambit to prevent it), so they voted in the Orange Baboon and he's doing nothing for them except worked to destroy their environment.

But, yeah, given all that John Kasich has to be a moderate and GW did some things right, right? No sense in looking at what he did to the Middle East and the economy. Let's look at those awesome tax cuts he gave us.

Good policies all around.

I was mainly referring to voters. And the underlined strengthens my view on it.

No it doesn't. Your view is completely in line with why Flint had to sue for clean water.

In all seriousness Brent, please list the ways Clinton would've been as bad or worse than Trump.
