I believe there were also 3 center-ice faceoffs due to erroneous whistles of one kind or another. Not a great performance, to be sure.

you are correct sir,sloppy at best,but will never be taken care of from what I have seen in the past 8yrs..I think the pace of a game like that is beyond the reffing.

Dillan Fox has a filthy pair of mitts. He scored a similar goal in either the PrimeLink championship or the regular season at Kreitzberg this year. Plattsburgh has a fantastic freshmen class this season.

The reffing has been a disservice to the play all season. Went to many games all over and saw shaky, unorganized and overall inconsistent calls all year long. Really hoping something gets addressed this offseason as it was embarrassing at times to see what refs would let go. Looked like a great game though!

Busy campus this weekend. The men's BB tourney was just announced and, not surprisingly, the Cardinals are hosting the first two rounds this weekend.

And the women's hockey schedule now says 12 and 3 for the ECACW semifinals on Saturday, making for a triple-header at the Ice Arena.

Empty Hotel rooms will be scarce this weekend in Plattsburgh. Fairfield Inn is still NOT finished either !

last reminder of season ticket holder sales (original sent on saturday 2/27):

Dear season ticket holder,

plattsburgh state will host the sunyac final vs geneseo on saturday, march 5 at 7pm. The ticket sale timeline will be the same as last week and you will have a 24 hour window of opportunity to purchase your seats online, beginning monday, february 29 at 9am, and ending tuesday march 1 at 9am. All tickets will be $8.00. You may only purchase the same seat package which you held during the regular season during this period. All seats, including those not claimed by season ticket holders, will go on sale to the general public wednesday, march 2 at 9am and you may purchase additional seats at that time if you so desire. To purchase your season ticket seats, go to tickets.plattsburgh.edu, and log in to your account (hopefully, you have created an account by now, but if not see instructions below). Once you are logged in, click on “season tickets” on the top banner and then choose “season ticket renewals”; and “2016 sunyac championship”. As a reminder, all sales will be online and if you do not purchase your seats during the 24-hour window, they will be released to the general public. There will also be no refunds and no exchanges for sunyac postseason tickets.

Note: We were under the impression that season ticket holder “cards” would work at the door for those who had paid for the semifinal, and unfortunately that was not the case last saturday. We are working with the university ticket folks to have this resolved by this saturday’s game. If you are able to print your e-ticket, please do so just in case.

Login instructions: Go to tickets.plattsburgh.edu and click “login” from the header, then click “general public/conference attendee”
the season ticket holder will login using their email address and password. The initial password for all accounts will be the season ticket holder’s last name. Once logged in we strongly encourage everyone to change their password under the “my accounts” tab and then “edit my profile” for security reasons.
Once the person in logged in they can view their own account, view upcoming events and purchase event tickets.

Just one NASCAR season - then back to hockey.

For now I will root for Geneseo and the SUNYAC!!

I hate posting on this site because it just ends up getting slammed. However, I heard about some stuff going back and forth after the finals. Docile and tired Emery and talking a lot about being done! Who knows man! After making this comment, I am going to stay out of it! I follow typically and don't like to get involved. Worth mentioning though in my quessyimation! I'll let you all talk, but I have heard this is not normal for Emery.

This weekend I will root for Adrian to win a "No Class" game. Show the NCAA that the numbers aren't everything....ultimately..Genny for the championship !

I don't understand why there would be a need for a big shakeup?

Plattsburgh was one of the best teams in the country all season. They had two games that killed their chances. Losing to Williams in a game they dominated shots wise and then laying an egg vs. Geneseo in the SUNYAC finals.
