Could you please deflate the puck for Friday's game?

Signed,

Bill's on to Seattle. He can't be worried about the size of his balls in the Indy game any more... Incidentally, since it was brought up, this one should be on Brady. I doubt even Bill B. was in on this one.

As a Bears fan, tomorrow nights game has me a little be worried. The Bears are going to be facing a bunch of angry Birds who are in a bit of funk (uptown problems). This will either be a one goal game or a blowout.

I have your ticket, when will you be arriving at the arena?

All depends who's between the pipes for Plattsburgh. ...

If Finney does have an ankle sprain, those things can be pesky. High ankle sprains take 6 - 8 weeks to recover from.

The only positive thing was that he did return with the team and skated on and off the ice, a little strained and gingerly but skated....but Im with the majority, unless he is 100% (no offense to Potsdam), let someone else take the fight. Bigger and better games/teams coming up...

I don't think you'll be seeing Finney till at least next weekend (BKP/GEN). Hopefully, Rouleau can regain some confidence and play like he did in some games earlier this season. I think he can. Also on the injury front, Kyle Hall didn't look too good leaving the ice and we should probably plan on him being out a while. Michael Radisa is getting close, real close. He's a player we could use right about now. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in action tomorrow night.

Saturday, February 21, 2015 - 1980 US Olympic hockey team to relive Miracle on Ice moment {via The Plattsburgh Press-Republican 1/22/2015}

Most members of the gold medal-winning 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team are expected to return to Lake Placid in February to participate in a special event centered around the 35th anniversary of their famed Miracle on Ice.
The evening at Herb Brooks Arena on Feb. 21 will include video, audio and photos, as well as a tribute to team member Bob Suter, who died in September while coaching kids. His No. 20 jersey will be raised to the rafters of the 1980 Rink where the U.S. team produced stirring victories over the Soviet Union and Finland to win the gold.
The event is part of the eighth annual Hockey Weekend Across America, a three-day nationwide celebration of the sport, and NBC will have a live studio show from Lake Placid.

Yes. Hope to see Raddy this weekend. On the other note, Brady is capable but you're right. He just needs to get back that level of confidence. Hope we see it Friday night. No news on Hall though. Know soon enough.

Emery just posted the lines for tonight's game in Twitter: https://twitter.com/emeryrd/status/558732477523849216

Finney is a scratch, as are Korrner, Hall, and Taff.
Rouleau starting, and Radisa makes his return to the lineup.

Speaking of pronunciation guides, the PxP for today's women's game has that lazy oz-WAY-go going today...that and the fact he's a real "homer" and the Cardinals are enjoying total domination make it more annoying than it should be. By contrast, the fellow yesterday was a real pro - informative and equally interested in the quality of play...and handled players names on both sides with ease...BTW the Lady Cardinals could give some SUNYAC men's teams some trouble....impressive skill and speed. Yikes! 😱😱😱

I did find him to be excessively a "homer" - shouting SCORE as if a fan in stands. This is an impressive Lady Cardinals team, that under women's rules could certainly do as well in the DIII men's world as the DIII men could do in the DI world.

Oswego did hold them to 1 goal in the first though.

Gorman nets three, Cards hold off Golden Eagles - {Article courtesy of the Plattsburgh Press-Republican 1/31/2015} Site includes videos.

PLATTSBURGH — Connor Gorman picked up
where he left off last week, and Plattsburgh State
weathered a string of third*period penalties to hold on
for a SUNY Athletic Conference men’s hockey
victory Friday.

Gorman started off with a hat trick in the first period
to help the Cardinals take a 4*1 lead, and they ended
the night with a 4*3 victory over Brockport at Stafford
Ice Arena.

We did what we (had to) do to win the game, and I
think that’s the most important thing to take out of it,”
Plattsburgh coach Bob Emery said. “We can’t be
spending that much time in the penalty box, myself
included.
We gotta learn from the game, obviously.

No. 8 Plattsburgh (14*4*1, 10*1 SUNYAC) hosts
Geneseo today.

Brockport trimmed its deficit to 4*2 in the second period and had some good opportunities in the
third as the Cardinals paraded to the penalty box. Plattsburgh was whistled for seven penalties in the
period, including a bench minor for unsportsmanlike conduct after Emery said something to the
officials.

The Cardinals killed off a 5*on*3 that started 5:35 into the period, but the Golden Eagles capitalized
the next time they had a two*man advantage. James Ryan sent the puck over a lunging Brady
Rouleau at 12:38 for his third goal of the game. All three scores came on the power play.

Plattsburgh committed two penalties in the last three*and*a*half minutes, and Brockport (9*8*1, 4*5*
1) pulled its goalie at the end. But the Golden Eagles couldn’t get the equalizer.

Obviously a lot of penalties isn’t good for us, but our penalty*killers did an unbelievable job,
Gorman said. “Ballsy (Luke Baleshta), Radi (Michael Radisa), Brento (Alex Brenton), Tooms
(Connor Toomey) and Cass (Michael Cassidy) just getting it done for us. Blocking shots and helping
us out.”

Brockport finished 3* for *8 on the power play.
Rouleau, who made his second straight start, stopped 21 shots. Spencer Finney, who usually
alternates games with Rouleau, is out with an ankle injury.

“Brady looked great (Friday),” Gorman said. “I mean he’s a great goaltender, obviously, so we have
faith in both goalies. Hopefully Spence is back pretty quick, but we’re all confident in Brady.”

Gorman almost single*handedly supplied Plattsburgh’s offense in the first period. He put in his first
goal at 10:30 and a few minutes later took a feed from Dillan Fox and lifted it high for a 2*0 lead.
Brockport interrupted the Connor Gorman Show with a tally by Ryan at 15:34. But then Gorman
skated in and put the puck past Aaron Green a third time.

The junior forward had three goals in Plattsburgh’s first 17 games. He netted two last Friday against
Potsdam and now has eight, which is a career high and makes him the team leader.
Gorman credited Kevin Emmerling, Fox and Preston Kaye with making good plays to get him the
puck.

Brenton added a power*play goal late in the period on a shot from the left circle.
Ryan pulled the Golden Eagles closer with a rebound goal in the middle of the second. Although
Plattsburgh easily outshot Brockport in the first and third periods, the teams were even at six shots
apiece in the second.

“I thought in the second period we played pretty well,” Emery said. “We got some quality shots on
net, but we didn’t get ourselves around the net to get those dirty goals.”
Green finished with 34 saves.

Geneseo will visit Stafford tonight after being surprised by Potsdam 1*0 on Friday.

It seems to me the Lady Cards' biggest hole has been filled up quite nicely as Camille Leonard has come into her own after Ross looked a little shaky early in the season.
